@tigertownsfs You can not go into the preseason with AD training and projecting into the halves next season , this IS the disaster he is next years blow up ! I do hope he moves on but doubt that will be the case he thinks he has the up on the club and coach over his dummy spitting …he needs another position otherwise it will get ugly all over again .
@mac_tiger I agree the kid needs another year his body is not ready … the Storm held Grant back for the same reason , Brailey would be a great option a good player to boot much better than the options ATM.

He "could" be a useful utility player to have on the bench and cover centre, halves or lock..... if he still has any game time left in his 33 year old legs. I would be happier if we were actively chasing a quality prop at this stage as a priority.

im fine with some variation of body type. And also some experience and strong trainers
Mann would be a great depth signing for a year or two. Similar to Brailey - a solid vet, happy enough with limited mins, who can raise standards off the field and contribute more on it than our current backups.
Agree that we need to find another starting level Middle though.

Im not sure the budget allows for much more “genuine talent” at the moment. Looks like we’re definitely working on depth though.

@mercy-rule I tend to agree ,is this type of signing a positive …another player looking for a retirement package at the Tigers ! Are these types of signings a sign that the club is desperate to fill depth spots and this is the indication of how unprofessional the organisation has been to be in this situation .I understand the Brailey signing as it makes sense as Haywood is another year off and as a player Brailey will offer good value for money .Signing an over the hill player like Mann makes no sense to me as being a supporter of this rabble of a club what type of message of hope does the club send when the best option for filling depth spots are players at 33 and at the end of there careers. IMO it’s time to bring up the next generation I have read as we all have of the younger players both backs and forwards that are on the cusp we’ll use these guys as your depth what is there to lose the club is handing contracts to retirees for gods sake! I also have an issue with how the club is handling this next crop of players TBH I think there is a real lack of talent /experience in the football department as to how these players are being handled this constant moving players up and down in grades sometimes two grades in a week is baffling . Don’t get me started on how Latu’s development has been applied … for me there is a huge vacuum at the club right from the CEO down in experienced operators, Richo might of rubbed some people up the wrong way but he had the runs on the board and the experience to achieve the outcomes for success and now the club finds itself at the bottom of the heap once again ! Do not think this will be turned around any time soon as the AD saga typifies as to where this club is ….a player demanding where he wants to play and a Coach and CEO granting that wish !
