First thing he has to do is get up into the coaches box and look at his chargers from a different viewpoint. He said in the press conference he was happy with that performance. He’s kidding himself and must move away from his sideline gig. It’s time Marshall steps out of his comfort zone , again yesterday showed there needs to be a sharp improvement in the offensive side of this team . Watching highly paid professional players running around for multiple tackles in an opposition red zone with no idea how to progress 10 meters is very sad to so the least and a terrible indictment on the coaching staff …Marshall needs to bring in outside help in this matter the job for the boys has run its course he is either serious about success or not , as watching yesterday was embarrassing at the extreme .
If he wants that kind of gig I’m sure fox or nine would take him on.
How he could put any positive spin on a game where we only score 6 points boggles the mind.

Just a couple of questions:
Has Marshall ever explained the advantage he feels he gets by coaching/strategising/responding from the sideline during a match? Am I right in thinking the only other such coach who does that in NRL 2026 is Ricky Stuart?
I notice the other NRL coaches sitting nearby their coaching staff and analysts in the coach's box during a game which, presumably, gives them immediate access to data and trends in play. How is Marshall getting that same information and who is providing it and how?
