The Wests Tigers tried really hard on Saturday night to add another win to their 2026 total, but it wasn't to be.
Blown off the field by the referee and bunker, and eventually overtaken by a fast-finishing Cowboys, the final score was 24-10.
One of the main talking points from the game was coach Benji Marshall's comments regarding the officiating, and this, naturally, is a main topic of interest on this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast.
Joel, Nick and Josh look at whether Benji should have spoken up earlier, and whether, indeed, lower-ranked teams seldom get the rub of the green.

Thanks for another season of commentary and conversation Joel (and Nick and Josh et al). Enjoy your holiday and I look forward to the end of season wrap up and then the build up to 2027 and Vegas.
It does seem as you talked through some of the comings and goings that we are slowly if not deliberately building some depth in may positions with transfers and developing talent in the backline, some depth in the halves perhaps and a couple of strong contenders for forwards as well. I think we still need another prop (Jack de Belin is maybe available as well as Blake Lawry. Both have plenty of experience and may be good depth signings).
Not too excited about what could happen next week v Panthers to end our season.
