@DaveRic1 on Jayden Sullivan:

"There will be some player options for third and fourth season.. All roads to the Tigers.. It doesn't impact their interest in signing Aidan Sezer from signing for at least a year."

@tigertownsfs isn’t brooks 4 years 700k ?
I tell you what’s a bad contract Hastings on 850k .
Hence the cogger and Sullivan talk .

Hastings is not on $850k, that is a figure the Brooks fans made up, Hastings is on $600k a year for 3 years, it doesn't ratchet up either

@avocadoontoast if its a sharks player , and it came out of buzz , then youd have to believe theres some real weight behind it .

or could be what he wants to be true.

Could be, but signing Moylan would be a very Pascoe and Lee thing to do.

By that you mean like jangling shiny keys in front of a crying baby? Short term fix when the reason for the crying is too hard to determine?

Yeh, that's pretty much the Chair/CEO/Board approach to things. Just do something and get it in the media. I'm heartened to think that we, the long suffering WT members/fans (and sponsors would be good) aren't buying that crap anymore. Of itself though, discussion on here won't be enough. But I think it brings the tipping point of concerted and focused agitation by members/fans even closer.

Correct, they are just aiming for enough to keep the heat off themselves. There is no striving for great.

Seems to be working for them at the moment as well.

True, and if nothing blows up in next four weeks they will get the off season and a chunk of 2024 too.

Exactly, I've seen this show before.

And, us fans/members just putting up with that is the best we can do? The petition was a good initiative. We need follow up strategies now to force change at WTs asap.

True, the petition is on the table at Wests Ashfield and we are expecting an outcome later this month.

Overall though, where this year is different to the last couple of years is this is their final chance. Another catastrophe and people will be protesting in the streets.

Good. I'm all for protesting in the streets but some coordinated action on a game day when televised live by Fox/Nine is also an option to consider. Banners, placards, chants etc, all coordinated and planned, will be a very strong message to WT Club leaders that we've had the proverbial gutfull of their incompetence and they've lost the support of the fan/member base.

28-0? Rookies. Anything under the half century is business as usual.

No way, it would require me to actually attend the game.
