CONFIRMED: The Wests Tigers have signed 2024 Australian Schoolboys fullback Jack Attard on a three-year contract, per sources.
Attard will be on a train-and-trial contract in 2026, before moving to the development list (2027) and the Top 30 roster (2028) over the next few seasons.

I don't think it puts any different light on the Bula issue. Bula, IMO, is the best player WT currently have. If the club and Richardson, in particular, want to be taken seriously, Bula needs to be retained, at any cost. I agree that Bulamust be retained by like Galvin or Stefano there is no way to keep a player that wants to leave. I don’t know Bulas thoughts but his choice of manager is at best a controversial move from him. Having a strong backup who is on an NRL contract the year Bula is off contract makes sense as a hedge for the club because Mason cannot be a long term option there. I would play this kid every week at fullback in Cup and try and develop Mason as a utility
I agree with you in the sense Bula is as important to us as Api is or a game managing 7 is. Take away one of those and we’re less chance of winning games. I still believe that Jahream will be here for at least another 2 years and I’m ok to wait and see what happens over the next week or two. Full credit to Bula is he is ready to fulfil his 2026 WT contract and then depart in 2027. Zero credit to those that let that happen. That's my point.
