@lorenzo Well you are partly right club can’t just sign whoever is on the market like in the past but we can’t just sit around waiting for something to fall out of a tree. Upgrading Galvin possibly, upgrading others, front loading someone like Luai now so there’s extra in next year’s cap to enable us to bring in a more expensive player than we mightn’t otherwise be able to do, not the right players available etc. I’m sure they’re trying to be strategic, as all clubs would be, but we don’t know what is involved in that strategy. I know Richo wants to ensure the club is successful before his tenure ends so he’ll do what he can to make sure we target the players who will make a difference, so far he and the recruitment team have done pretty well in that regard but still a fair bit to do.@lorenzo I have said it before to much faith put into Richo its all about the dollers and how many he can save. Look at the players we let go last 6 months have we replaced them
Given, after 3 wooden spoons, we are used to worst case scenarios, how would we feel about losing Galvin (seems certain), letting TDS go, and Luai taking up his exit clause to go elsewhere? Just wondering.
