Look at how Moses kicked on with parramatta if Brooks was in a better performing team with better players he would shine like Melbourne Manly Roosters souths etc

He was great in 2018 he can get to those heights again, Brooks is not the main problem with this team it has been our forwards and last year and this your we have no strike in the backs.

I do think Sheens will help Brooks get his confidence back

I still wouldn't want Moses back.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

@jedi-tiger the problem is that good teams like the Roosters and Manly wouldn’t want Brooks in their team because he’s not as good as the players they currently have at 7 and 6.

Surely when Brooks committed to the Tigers long-term, it was a commitment to work with what the tigers can provide him with in regards to team mates which consisted of a future immortal in Tedesco, two hall of fame players like Farah and Marshall and also the best hooker in the game right now in Harry Grant. Not a bad list to be a part of.

The Luke Brooks bashing has become a little incessant for my way of thinking. As far as I’m concerned, the criterion for criticism should be the general standard of the pack in front of him.Over the last six or seven seasons he’s rarely been able to display his wares behind a consistent, domineering, relentless forward pack. For the most part pretty piecemeal, throw together cast offs, without the clinical bench to maintain and up the pressure when the game is on the line.Luke’s form could be described as a reflection of this. When he’s playing behind a truly dominant bunch and under-performing well that’s a different story, and until such time I’ll stick solid.Besides, quality halfbacks don’t grow on trees.

Heartening to see us building a good pack.Brighter days ahead!

https://twitter.com/LeagueEyeTest/status/1435568923575865348?s=20 this tweet from last year really sums up the Tigers for the past 20 years

It really doesnt matter who plays in the halves because we never have forwards that actually get over the advantage line and bend the defence.

Im happy to hear from anyone who says Brooks makes bad plays that of course have contributed to our poor performance as a collective. But my long held view is that WT are soft up front. Unless blokes like Garner, Twal and Seyfarth grow a leg in 2022 we will struggle again.

The man has spoken 🔮

Gotta live these articles- It says Brooks won half-back of the year in 2020 instead of 2018.

Fingers crossed it happens. It's in there - just needs to get his confidence up.

Has anyone heard if we has appint a sports psychologist this year?

Top 8 2023
