The business model is to get the government to build a new stadium but negotiate where the club pays no rent and gets all/most game day revenue

Things such as:

- naming rights

- LED signage

- extensive corporate area

- large crowd capacity

None of which LO or CS have

The club has confirmed 2024 home ground strategy:

5 games each at Campbelltown and Leichhardt. Magic Round in Brisbane and another game TBA.

@jedi-tiger  Sorry until the club has one home ground there is and  never  will be any Weststigers identity..this move has been made by the same fools that have been running the club into the ground .. if playing out of not for purpose and outdated facilities is a good idea well good luck ! So only 4 home grounds 😂😂😂😂… one day someone with vision  might turn up .

In the media release Pascoe commented something about the Tigers playing from "spiritual homes" in 2024. It proved yet again, as if I needed any more proof, that the man is completely delusional. Just like LO and CSS are not fit for purpose for any seriously aspirational NRL club, Pascoe is not fit for purpose as a CEO. But, that's not news to anybody.

Pascoe is about the same standard as Leichhardt Oval…well under par.

I’m glad I’m not the only one viewing this move as a backwards step. Personally I don’t see how we grow the club by utilising outdated venues as the core venues.

I get we want to respect the past and would be happy for 1 game at each a year but 5 is a bit much.

i think the aim has to be to get a new stadium built in Campbelltown to play out of. i don't think any of the major stadiums are appropriate for the Wests Tigers.

the problem is even the club know that’s a long shot. They’ve spoken about a 4-5 stage plan to build the stadium. That would be a number of government/priority changes to navigate.

@garry The problem is self interest rules at the Tigers from supporters to administration any of the major stadiums would be appropriate, word was if Stadium Australia had the upgrade that’s where the club was going ! If the Weststigers want there own identity the shackles of the past need to be removed the garbage of spiritual homes grounds has to be left in the past .The club is rock bottom so what is the great announcement let’s regurgitate the past let’s continue playing at stadiums that are sub standard but charge a premium price .The club needs to be reborn with new ideas and a philosophy for the future and mature with the motivation to play with the big boys . Self interest will be the downfall of the club

@the-last-ronin We were Magpie season ticket holders at Campbelltown for 15yrs travelling there from inner city every other weekend . We were at the last game they played there and have never been back since … the club is spiraling to oblivion coaches being appointed that have no experience..fools running the club that think playing at sub standard grounds is appropriate and boast about it !Still having 4 home grounds ..so yes you’re not the only one that thinks the stadium policy is garbage all set in motion by small and mediocre thinkers !

I would have loved a move to Stadium Australia if the rebuild went ahead, problem is it didn't go ahead and in its current state I believe it is unfit to host regular club games.
