I like big Sam starting and using Pole as an impact player.

Congratulations to Solomon on his debut, may it be a beauty!

I don’t mind this team at all, a reward for big Sam’s consistency and an opportunity for Bateman to nail down this position where the rest haven’t been able to.

Sam more likely to run into a hole than either of our typical 2RF. Allows pole to have impact off the bench. Big question is how  Bateman handles 13. He traditionally isn’t particularly good in structure.

That is my concern as well

2nd Solomon to debut this season… haven’t seen anything like this since the two juniors in ‘22 I think.

Keep steering the right path

plenty to like about our pack and bench this week, let's hope Haas and the second rower are underdone and a bit ring rusty.

Ezra out is a big loss for them, target Madden all day and do our best with Walsh. if we have some luck and play likenwe did for first 20 mins against penrith we can produce the upset of the season

Bateman at lock didn’t work well last year. I’m hoping this time will be different.  Well done to big Sammy, he deserves his chance.

@davey-farrell

saw him against Parra and I liked what I saw thought he played better than Lobb. Will offer more on ball return, good in the air looked good when he had some space. Scored a nice try think it is our best move.
