I'm surprised there hasn't been the Joey wants to turn local boy into the next big thing stories about Madden then.

I did forget the media centre they have there that has a desk to host broadcasts, maybe we could do a pod from the media centre or something at some p...

@snake You are right, I have been a bit slack. Steve and I headed in for a tour on Thursday night and I must say the place is really impressive....

To be honest, it is probably the smartest way to deal with what is a problem contract.

NRL 2022: Tim Sheens’ plan to retain halfback Luke Brooks on less money | Daily Telegraph

Sheens wants to keep Brooks and renegotiate his deal at a lower salary but extend him.

Exactly

Brooks will be taking a pay cut.

Yeah, our second halfback from Scone, really crucial time in his career and I think his last 2 performances should ensure he has an NRL deal next year...

I think the praise for Madden is a little over the top atm, he had played 2 reasonable games at this point of his career.

I'd be ok keeping Brooks in 2024 but it would be on about $600k

I think he should be a priority signing, always have, just need to see more development from him as a 6. He would be in my team every week though.
