Good work guys.

I think one thing that really plays against us is the media. For example, We have the 360 clowns who take it in turns to put the boot into us. Hooper goes after Pascoe, Kent goes after the club as a whole and Buzz goes after Sheens (even though he was saying that his appointment was his idea...any idea why the change?). As much as it shouldn't matter, the media hammering us does no favours and never has. People listen and have seen us as a bigger basket case than other teams even when we weren't winning the spoon. What player would want to put themselves under that amount of pressure? You don't hear them hammering the Bulldogs and they have been dreadful for a few years, the Dragons are just as poorly run if not more so than us and they cop a little bit but only when they can't dig up something on us.

One thing that we really need is a media champion. Someone like Matty Johns to talk up the potential of the team for a prospective half. "Forwards are killing it, the backs are starting to come together, they are always in the opposition 20, a prospective half who is willing to back themselves could make a real go of it." They did it with the Broncos when they got the spoon and they landed Reynolds. Then we need someone to be an official spokesperson for the club to hit everything as it happens and not Pascoe or Lee. No more ask the boss, weekly spots for the chairman or the fluff crap that comes out.

The team culture that Steve spoke about is paramount. Not dropping heads when something goes against us has been killing us for years and is the main thing wrong with Brooks. As soon as he gets on the field he looks like he just wants the game to be over. He's like a kid who's parents make him play even though he doesn't want to. I would have thought that Benji and Kimmorley would have sorted him out with a lot of 1-1 coaching but he is way too meek and so doesn't get involved. This culture is THE reason that we shouldn't sign Schuster. He would fall straight into it and be another Adam Blair.

I 100% agree with this.

Sounded like a great Ambush event. It will be interesting to see how the club responds.

The offer has already been raised with Justin Pascoe to have an interview where the questions fans really want asked can be put forward in a respectful manner. We will see how he responds.

I think that would be a great idea. Especially if the questions could be provided prior so that he can give considered responses.
