I totally agree with Eddie and say our performances are ingrained into our DNA. Really don’t know how we get ourselves out of the hole we’re in.

@loganr21 you can go right back to the Roosters semi final in 2010, the Broncos game at campbletown when we were robbed and lost by a penalty goal in golden point Cowboys game last year where we were robbed it has spanned decades and only happens to us.

You realise that every club thinks that (other than Brisbane & roosters maybe). Raiders were robbed in a GF.

@tiger5150 stuff just happens to this club, the scrum in the Roosters semi, normally that would be called back and asked to repack. The 2011 semi final when all lawrence and Lote had to do was catch the bomb against warriors and they stuffed it and they scored. The cowboys short kick off obstruction challenge, the game in 2022 when all we had to do was catch the ball against gold Coast and poor old Madden drops it and Titans score,. That stuff only happens to us all direct last minute instances that cost us games.
@jedi-tiger you could go through every club and find similar incidents. Just look at Penrith on the weekend. As fans we just notice them more because we have an emotional investment.

everything you just listed (including the 2010 Roosters scrum) was within our control and THAT sums our club up.
A good podcast guys, just on the half’s . If we are looking at a Mitchell Pearce or Shaun Johnson for next season maybe include role as a half coach when they retire. Would like JT ( Thurston) for that job but can’t see that happening.

Thoroughly agree someone like Pearce would be a smart pickup in the 7, otherwise like one of you mentioned, we should go for a younger fringe 7 like Sullivan from the dragons would be perfect. Has played some nrl but also has excelled in nsw as a 7.
Even Pezet from Melbourne, or as a long shot overpay Ben Hunt who has said he could leave the dragons if / when griffin gets sacked
