I think there’s only one person that should be in the firing line in the latest Tigers turmoil… and it’s not Philip Ronald Gould.
My personal opinion LG never wanted to play at the tigers and should never have been picked Rd1 2024.

(have not listened to the pod yet so apologies if I'm repeating anything that may have been said)
Have to agree with you, he was never staying and I truly believe he was given the start because he kicked up a stink when we signed Latu and the threats stemmed from that. I don't doubt he is a very fit sportsperson however nearly all his highlight reels are effort plays or marginal plays, rather than planned or high skill plays. I don't doubt he will become a good player, however, is he reaching JT/Joey/Cleary level....I doubt it. He doesn't seem to be really switched on enough to read a game and outmanoeuvre an opponent.
We can only judge things from the outside looking in and make assumptions based on that, however I'm pretty sure he was a disruptive element with the younger members of the team and may be the catalyst in one way or another for Onitoni leaving and now for Tallyn agitating, even Luke L didn't seem to be really playing with heart in the few games we saw him in. In fact, most of the younger players this year have been a little disappointing and it's the older heads that have stood up. Also we have not seen Luke & Kit for a number of weeks and Tallyn has been dropped for a couple of games now....there must be something going on there and Benji could be managing this until Galvin has completely left and these boys settle back down. It could also be the reason Benji and Richo decided to release him sooner rather than later. We all didn't want to believe it however in hindsight there must have been truth to the reporting from Buzz that Galvin was telling anyone that wanted to listen (in a very loud voice) that he wanted to leave the club after that game last season....if he is willing to be that obvious and direct, than there is no doubt he was destabilising the team.
