On this Bye Round Edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast the Eddie, Steve and Garry welcome two fans in Lucas and Lance and ask them for their thoughts on the 2025 season so far.

The boys talk personal season highlights and lowlights and the biggest challenge facing Benji Marshall and Shane Richardson heading into the second half of 2025. Where do they sit on the future home ground of the West Tigers? Finally the boys vow never to talk Lachlan Galvin again after diving into his seeming immediate defection to the Bulldogs.

Thank you for joining the Bye Round Edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast.

I don’t think looking at Reynolds is an indication that Romey can’t organise. I think we know how much difference a great kicking game can make to a team & experience of course. Romey can kick ok but can Latu?

I’d say that part of the mid season review was a meeting with the leadership group & their thoughts on Galvin. I’d think the situation was just too bad to do anything else but move on without him.
I’d make a bet too that Gakvin has been in constant contact with Luke Vella at the Dogs who would’ve communicated all that needed to be communicated to Galvin about the Dogs.

I did hear somewhere that the club had some sort of review aswell. Going off other reviews this club has had I’m not confident about the cows on Saturday. Coming off the bye disjointed backline with Latu still out and the cows could hit top gear after losing their last.
Worse case scenario ‘friend of the show’ mr white legs, vampire, whinging pom himself Johnny Bateman scores a double. Think this could force EO into retirement 😎🤣🤪

Or the boys target the Pom and rile him up about the head gear so he gives away stupid penalties and gets sin binned.

The way this season is going (for all teams) anything is possible.

Replace us? we were on last night, I think it is clear who's spot they were auditioning for. @illawarratiger knows who he is replacing.

I just listened to the latest episode of Wests Tigers Life podcast following it being mentioned in the Lachlan Galvin thread.

The content, though not entirely new was very damning of Phil Gould (which you've got to love) but I must say the technical quality of the production was poor and lots of dead air. Not the professional quality of podcast that we are used to here.
