It’s a shame we have so many injuries because our run home is very good. If we had a full strength side we would be very short odds to make the 8
We finally have a competitive team and can't use it. Frustrating!

As there is no thread for the bye round I am using this space to say I thought that if Souths had finished off that game v Eels the way they started it, we could have moved from 16th to 13th without stepping onto the field. Just shows what 2 points can do for you. I am glad we didn't come up against that 2nd half Eels team last week, we would have gone down by 50+ for sure.
SPOON WATCH
After the dragons have found a little form... all it will take is Dragons winning last 3 games (Dogs, Sea Eagles, Eels).
Plus 1 win for both Broncos (Raiders, Storm, Dogs) and Titans (Sharks, Rabbits, Dolphins)... and Wests Tigers lose all last 3 (Roosters, Cowboys, Panthers).
I'm concerned here.
@tiger_alex I share your concern.
But I've moved on from concerned to downright angry at the way this season has transpired. If Marshal got his arse off the sidelines and into the coaches box he would get the same view that we at home get on TV; i.e. to name just a few obvious ones, he would see that;
- WT have ZERO shape or form or structure or intent or confidence in attack at all! It is embarrassing by comparison to every other NRL side.
- forwards running the ball up at, seemingly, half pace (by comparison to other NRL sides) and surrendering in the tackle or trying the miracle hit-and-spin offload.
- a halfback (Doueihi) who can't (or won't) pass, is as slow as a wet week, and has the turning circle of the Queen Mary.
- a certified fraud pretending to "play" at 6.
- a hooker past his best, but at least giving the impression he's trying.
- outside back who are slow and careless defenders.
It is negligence on the part of the coaches that this happens week-in, week-out since about Round 8 this year. THEY need to be held to account. THEY have allowed (or worse, taught) this level of comparative incompetence.
It is disgraceful.
Agree on Luai... should be dropped to reggies but won't be.
Doueihi should be playing lock or look elsewhere... and WT should not be paying any freight.
I would like to see a 6.Andrews (playing left side) & 7.Latu Fainu (playing right side) with Madden as cover.

Yes surely this sideline coaching has to stop. I raised this aspect 10 weeks ago. Also believe May needs time playing off the pine. 4 weeks ago I picked AD in the centres. However I’d keep 1.2 at 6 just to get our moneys worth. And 💯 agree Api is cooked. But then again so is the club to be honest.
I’m worried about Api too. 2027 should be his last season here. It’s not to say he’s not trying, he just looks shot.

@joel Yes, he deserves one last season in 2027 to leave/retire on his own terms. I never doubt his effort or care for the team; his body seems just not capable of being the dynamic 9 that he was and that we so desperately need.
