@joel I thought I read somewhere that he alienated sponsors, staff and some players by his abrasive personaility and unfiltered character and comments.

If true, that would hardly fit in with Marshall's style - whatever that is. The contrast would be as stark as Adam O'Brien and Justin Holbrook. Surely O'Brien joins Flanagan in the "never to be NRL head coach again" club, with a spot reserved for Ciraldo in the not too distant future.

@mercy-rule Thanks for that update on Carr. You are right, definitely not a good fit with Benji or anywhere else it would seem.

I think we go for experience in Rnd 1 and give youngsters the chance to impress/grow in lower grades.

I’d think at best they could only potentially be on NSW Cup contracts.

Since Douehi walked out of training I’ve wanted him to keep on walking.

No time for that bloke anymore. Players want someone in the trenches with them not someone running away

One side of me agrees - get him away from the squad and club. Also, he’s too selfish and isn’t a genuine half.

The other side of me remembers the strong runs and attacking threat he posed. He’s also an older head now who has battled hard to overcome serious injuries.

Joel - I'm definitely not sold on Tupou playing NRL. He did show improvement on his return but he was starting from a low base. 

This means we still need another winger. Schiller has been rumoured this week. I don't rate him personally 

You'd think that Tony Sukkar pops up as contract 27. 

That leaves "winger x" contract 28 and 2 spots left. 

AD and Royce Hunt most likely to leave in the off season. If AD does move on the cleanest way it can happen is for another Isaac Moses half to come the other way.

Could that be Blaize Talagi??

@joel yeah Talagi fits the profile but I'm not certain Penrith want more halves? They just signed Jett Cleary for him to play with Nathan. I think Talagi has talent in attack but wow he can miss some tackles.

He’s surplus to requirements over at Penrith, but yes, poor defender at this point in his career.
