Would you give him another year?

Obviously it needs to be at the right price

But assuming that, I voted yes for 2 reasons:

- we have a lot of spots to fill next year for forwards with LL, LG, KT,  TM all leaving, which I'd doubt  we can replace all of these positions alone, little lone if we lost Tamou well

- if we are a development club,  ideally we have some older leaders like Tamou eventually moving back to NSW Cup to mentor the up and coming players

Top 8 2023

This is one of the reasons this club is sitting at the bottom … Tamou another seeking a retirement package , one day the penny will drop but then again maybe not !!

Would be a handy backup but I think it's half the reason we are what we are.

As a non-playing mentor? No issue.

I voted yes because we need about 4-6 middle forwards.

No thanks, doesn’t offer anything on the field. No petrol left in the tank.

Sad indictment on the club if we have no other options but to sign Tamou for another year he should be sent out to pasture at the end of the season.

Sadly he is past his best. No go forward, gassed in defence and I haven’t seen any of this much talked about leadership stuff

I might have disagreed with you earlier in the year,as he did play a few turn back the clock games, but of late that seems to have evaporated. The amount of times our big boys are getting picked off coming out of trouble isn’t very encouraging.Sure we’ve had injuries, but we so badly need another barnstorming, bruising middle player to fill the breach.

@frullens 100% agree. We need a leader in the forward pack like Tamou to help bring through the juniors.

At best Tamou is a temporary solution. Hopefully next year we’ll have better options as captain and leader to help the younger players.

We really need a more dynamic prop in the mix next year.

Age has caught up with Tamou. His level of ability on the field will not help the younger guys coming through.
