Any intel on this fella?

No idea but he'd have to be good to unseat Nofa.

Sounds like a solid left field signing. We are going to need to think outside the box a little to get out of our current predicament

Big speedy outside back with a nice side step and couldn't have cost much. Sounds like a good decision.

At worst a better replacement for Triston Reilly. Looks big and quick. I wonder if this increases the chance of Tupou being pushed in the centres?

Staines/Solomon/Tupou - Wings

Toa/Naden/Tupou - Centres?

Nice to see some speed and height in the backline. Seems like a signing that could have a fair bit of upside.

Does it mean end of the line for Mr Nofoaluma?

Dare say signing Shane Richardson is a bigger deal than landing Luai

Now we're talking. This is the type of appointment for which we've been desperate for a long long time.

If you listen to this interview with Shane Richardson in this really good interview (from 37 mins especially) you can learn about his attitude towards to recruitment.

He talks at length about the Tigers. He thinks that we need to invest heavily in juniors and round them out with hardened NRL players rather than trying to cherry pick big names. It seems very unlikely that we'd sign Luai with him in charge.

A really good listen (especially now that Richardson is at WT!)
