@jedi-tiger no way would Melbourne agree to that. Meaney is a quality player

Nofo can sign with Melbourne and not have to leave sydney

He can play for North Sydney Bears every week

@lestronge agree with your observations. Lack of lateral movement is an interesting point but perhaps valid. Arguable that Sam Fainu would become a better player as well.

@mickb I don’t even know if I agree with me mate lol

I hope I’m right , but Blore is a leader of men , and he’s at the age where he can really take leaps forward . So this could look real silly real quick by June .
and like Joe , I want to reward loyalty , which is why always had brooksys back . But we definitely have lot of B level talent through the club , but we have some A grade juniors coming through . I guess I’m hoping to bag translates . Because a lot of our B talent were B+ /A- talent at one point .

@lestronge king of B graders Seyfarth just got a new two year contract so its logical to conclude that Blore would start looking elsewhere.

Another justification for retaining Blore is the fact that he'd just as likely be replaced by a rookie.

Along those lines my reservations about the juniors being talked up is two fold

- most of the players we've signed to top 30 contracts don't have the physical traits to make it at NRL. From where I sit Kit Lauilii, Josh Feledy, Brandon Tumeth and Chris Faagutu have their work cut out for them because they are short (If you watch a replay of the final round game against Manly our forwards lined up against Haumole, Taniela Paseka and Tof Sipley. They towered over our rookies)

- there's too much attention given to these players in the media, far before they deserve it. Throwing players in at 18 is unfair especially when many of them have not even played NSW Cup. Successful clubs give promising juniors 18 months in reserve grade before they graduate to NRL e.g Sua Faalogo and Jack Howarth at Melbourne Storm.

damn we were talking to him and have been since June. Smithies would have fixed our forwards good player.

As James Roberts has AVO and court appearance etc in the DT article it says he retired from fotty in 2022 played for the hills bulls in 2023. What is the go is Roberts in our top 30 ?

not a miss IMO. We have good 2RF coming through and would prefer to have a crack at Finefeuiaki if we are looking at a 2RF. Need a centre more tahn a 2RF plus the little issue with having a full roster right now.

Addo Carr discussion starts at 22 min.

Weidler suggests JAC is off with Gould and that Gus would let him leave and that Bulldogs are off him.

I could see a lot of good coming from JAC joining the Tigers at the right price for our culture.

we were going to pay Moses 1.3 million, Luai is worth it at either 6 or 7

He's not worth anything near that for us. Our pack are plodders and our backs are hopeless.

@jedi-tiger The difference is Moses is a high percentage kicker as well … IMO he is a good player but that figure is overs , if he was a high percentage kicker sure !
