Pauga add to the list of players who improve when they leave the Tigers

This isn’t really true. My dads a big bears fan so I see a fair few of their games and keep an eye on them. He’s been good this year but still just above average NSW Cup level. He looked good last night but he can’t put games together.

as a side note he is only signed to the Bears in NSW cup and not the Roosters

played pretty well last night for the Roosters.

So if Wayne Bennett is still interested in coaching could we maybe try to get him as a coaching director (similar to Gus’s current and Sheen’s previous roles)?

Has a relationship with Benji who might be willing to let him in and his name would provide clout for us in attracting and retaining players.

Would Wayne be interested, after the way we treated Sheens?

There is no justifiable comparison between Bennett and Sheens other than age, IMO.

But Bennett is way too smart to even consider what Sheens so happily took on and gloriously, yet again, stuffed up.

Which I acknowledged in my post.

To clarify The Roosters have two NSW cup teams this year, the Bears and The Roosters. Junior’s contract is with the Bears so next year he will have no direct line to first grade unless he gets a new contract.

the Bears and Roosters affiliation ends this year.

Not too concerned he’s a good squad player but we probably have too many of those. Good luck to him he’s a nice kid, came down to my sons training last year and did a great job.

That is a real shame if so. He’s a very good squad player.

This infatuation that Manly has for Tigers players and Tigers for Manly players is going to end in tears for both clubs IMO.

Most likely we end up in tears, they end up in the finals!

Two poor teams trading players isn’t really going to help either of them. We need them to take our trash and sign players from else where. I can’t see either team playing finals at the moment with the squads they have

Agree. We are just swapping one player manager for another.
