This is a perfect example of why he cannot be CEO. No good can come from this.
I think part of the reasoning in signing Sezer is what he will offer in mentoring. Hopefully he provides that controlling 7 we are desperate for and at a good level, but even if his form slips I think his experience will be invaluable for Fainu and Sullivan.
Just like Bateman and Klemmer were signed to bring professionalism, standards, and leadership, just Sezer training with the young halves will help their development especially if they are willing to be sponges.
So even if Sezer ends up in KOE I still think his signing offers a lot to our setup and transitioning of the young players.
Fainu looks very close to DCE (he was photographed presenting DCE with something for his 300th game) and having another senior figure like sezer to give him cover as he comes into grade along with having a coach like Benji who has done everything in the game and it’s a really really promising transition to first grade. He has obvious talent but he is being managed into grade in exactly the right way. I can’t wait to see this guy in our colours
