Toby Sexton signs with Dogs effective immediately. Our idiots asleep at the wheel again.
I wonder what Dogs are going to do with Burton or Oloapu (and Rajab), or is Sexton signing on to play NSW Cup instead of QLD Cup?
@jirskyr Oalapu isn’t ready yet . Burton has real issues and holes in his game as well .
Sexton at least is a halfback . And I guess Flanagan can go drive a cab .

remember #anyone but brooks lol
Even though we have no halves, I still think it was the right decision not to pay overs to retain Brooks. A fair offer was made which was declined. I say good on him for seeking a new opportunity.
100% it was, 11 seasons in, we needed a change as Brooks wasn't working, signing him to another contract would just keep this going for another 3 or 4 years hoping for him to be the player they wanted@jirskyr Oalapu isn’t ready yet . Burton has real issues and holes in his game as well .

@snake TT chosen in this weeks team so no immediate swap anyway, Dolphins win I’d say
Hagipantelis has promised “significant change”, saying “we are about to embark on a very aggressive recruitment program”, with the Tigers seeking new halves with Adam Doueihi injured and Luke Brooks set to join Manly next year.
“Keep the faith,” he told SEN Radio.
“I appreciate the disappointment. I’m not immune to accessing social media and seeing people vent their spleen in the most colourful terms. They’re all entitled to tell us what they feel and what they think. We take that all on-board.
“We are as bitterly disappointed with where we stand as all our fans and stakeholders are. We are committed to a certain pathway forward.
“The result was embarrassing and unacceptable. We will own it, but there’s nothing that I can possibly say that would adequately placate the disappointment that we all feel, particularly by our supporters.
“It just wasn’t good enough and it was completely unexpected. I did not see that coming.”
The bolded part in particular feels like 'free beer tomorrow', given the scarcity of decent off-contract players.
@garry Don’t be surprised if the family head up to Queensland to get the boys away from certainty influences in Sydney .. just reading between lines ! Which in a way is a smart move ..if that did happen not the clubs fault .
No idea where he is going but it does look like he is going somewhere.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
Lee sounds like a fool. We’ve been on an aggressive recruitment drive with a war chest of funds for at least 3 years now and come up pretty empty.
If he is not going to resign he needs to at least go mute
