Wow that is a lot for an edge backrower. That’s more than what Bateman and Ice are on.
Looks likely that Laurie is heading to the Northern Hemisphere

Will probably kill it over there...
I believe if we go for a young half we have to identify certain traits in them first, then stick with them through the lows like Souths are with Ilias. Work on there mistakes and make them grow.
The traits I refer to above for me are:
1. Confidence. Must have some swagger about him.
2. Promising kicking game
3. Shown an ability to play straight, and pass short at the line turning opposition shoulder in.
If they have these 3 qualities, we can build the rest.
Trindall, Sullivan

Trindall definitely, Sullivan, yea maybe. I could warm to that if Benji thinks he can grow him
@tiger5150 i read that Laurie has rejected those UK offers in favour of staying around to try and earn a new contract in the NRL.
This Saturday is probably the biggest game of his career. If he can step up in the halves there's every chance he'll earn a new contract.
He's got his work cut out for him against a big strong NQ side but I really hope he performs well.
Manly Sea Eagles five-eighth Josh Schuster is set to sign a three-year extension worth a reported $2.4 million to remain at the club over three years.
As the Sydney Morning Herald reported, Schuster informed the club late Monday night regarding his decision.
The news comes one day after the club signed Luke Brooks from the Wests Tigerson a four-year deal beginning in 2024.
What a relief. Has all the talent but no work ethic IMO.
You'd think this confirms Samuela Fainu has to look elsewhere. Manly running out of edge forward spots.

0% chance of Sullivan with Hunt leaving Dragons, maybe a 2% change with Trindall with Moylen retiring soon.

I'd like to think it confirms Manly knows Sam Fainu is going somewhere
@tiger5150 in addition to Hynes, Moylan and Trindall, the Sharks also signed Niwhai Puru from Penrith for this season. He has big wraps on him. I think one of Trindall and Puri will want out if they don’t get Moylan’s spot. As you say, it’s probably unlikely we get Trindall but it’s something to watch. We need to make Trindall a big offer (informally) to gauge his interest imo.

Dykes to come back too who has massive wraps
https://www.nswrl.com.au/draw/nsw-cup/2023/round-17/jets-v-eels/ it's crazy the amount of depth Cronulla have.
The Jets reserve grade site would beat our NRL side I'm quite confident of that.
Matt Moylan has another year under contract after this. He's not going anywhere. That leaves Trindall, Tracey, Dykes and Daniel Atkinson (recently extended as well) all competing for spots in the halves behind them.
There isnt a club in the comp with as many players waiting in the wings. They have strong depth in the outside backs also.
Few rumours from Manly people on Twitter saying Latu Fainu going to Titans

According to Manly people, it will be Titans, not us.
