I see Brooksy around a fair bit walking his dog. He looks a completely different person. The way he says hello now is so relaxesd and comfortable. 2 months ago he would say hello with a real lack of confidence, almost like "is this a guy who hates on me" type vibe. Makes me so happy to see him thriving at the minute. Hoping the backend of his career is blissful and hope it's with us.

from what I understand he doesn't want to leave sydney but when it comes to contract negotiations who knows, Moses will be saying to Tigers this is the offer etc, I'd be surprised if he signs for anything less than 500k
plus we miss players all the time and no real replacements so doubt the club would baulk at 500k for a half

I thought Brooksy was great, Chris Warren is hard work though.
its 10x better than ask the boss but Warren can be a little off beat at times. In general I like the content

I agree that 500k for a half is reasonable and with the noise out of the club imagine we will sign him. However I don’t think we should get into any type of bidding war. If Moses wants to try and pull out a SL offer we should walk away and call his bluff

I agree you don't get into a bidding war but the 500k is reasonable and he probably takes that you would think. This suggestion of Brooks an 11 year player earning 100k more than wakeham on 300k is not going to happen.
Isaac seems to play the clubs pretty well we don't want to get into a bidding war but likewise not much out there on the market left. We will be left with wakeham and will Smith or wakeham and Dean hawkins as our halves
I’m tipping 650 - 700 which is still cheap for a first grade established half back and after loyalty discount will sit under 500 k on our cap.. a good deal all round

Jedi is right ! Hastings isn’t, nor was he ever the messiah , I have heard expressed about him on various message boards , and alternate podcasts .
And the ladder position of that team , and more importantly the style of play , is vindication of this fact .
As I said earlier , I’m not sure about anyone but brooks , but I will say it should be anyone but brooks not named hastings .

Thoughts on Tristan Sailor? Just going by the game last night Looks a bit like Dylan Brown build wise, is quite fast, has a short kicking game, defends well relative to his size. Can play 5/8 and gives coverage at fullback. Would be cheap given he is sitting in reserve grade for the broncos. Only 25yrs old

Thoughts on Tristan Sailor? Just going by the game last night Looks a bit like Dylan Brown build wise, is quite fast, has a short kicking game, defends well relative to his size. Can play 5/8 and gives coverage at fullback. Would be cheap given he is sitting in reserve grade for the broncos. Only 25yrs old
I'd like him as a replacement for Laurie. I think he has potential as a 6 and would be great depth
