You just need to add a couple of words, such as, "in my opinion". As does Jedi, in my opinion.@mercy-rule um….. Jedi is right ! Hastings isn’t, nor was he ever the messiah , I have heard expressed about him on various message boards , and alternate podcasts .
And the ladder position of that team , and more importantly the style of play , is vindication of this fact .
As I said earlier , I’m not sure about anyone but brooks , but I will say it should be anyone but brooks not named hastings .
@mercy-rule why do l ? It seems pretty obvious to me this is true based on our style .
I wish nothing but the best for Joffa, but in his first game for Parra he just went off with a torn calf.

such a shame for Joffa.

fact is brooks is still in front of Hastings on the Dally M leaderboard buy hey my opinion right....
we all know how this will play out Isaac Moses will conjure up some offer from SL for brooks to compete with tigers offer

Maybe but Brooks has stated he wants to stay and it’s been pointed out he doesn’t want to leave Sydney. It appears he will be here next year the question is around how cheap can we get him and the club hold all the cards at the moment

he has never come out and said he doesn't want to not go to SL though, you wait a SL "offer" will come just to jack up the price
@jedi-tiger there already is one from Leeds Rhinos . It came out a few weeks ago Brooks was thier primary target .
Hypothetical question
which coach would you choose now to coach us if your choices were
1 Todd Payten
2 Andrew Webester
3 Sheens/Marshall
If you asked me 4 weeks ago I would of said Payten
Now I would keep the Sheens / Marshall combo
In the last month can see more of their influences on this team.
I really had my doubts after the first two months of the season.
But happy with their progress now
@peter-a honestly mate , I just think that’s recency bias . All 3 are good coaches , with benji TBD.
I think the current scenario , is the most chance we have of getting out of our endless cycle of mediocrity , as there’s top cover for benji , sheens is more worried about his legacy then on field results , which is way more conducive to a winning formula , as no one is looking over their shoulder , so we can take calculated risks like Jahreem Bula . If Madge is here coaching week to week , then Pole doesn’t get a run , AJ isn’t move to edge back row , Laurie is stinking up the joint at 1 , and on and on it goes with “safe” coaching strategies designed not to lose , rather than to win.
That’s not a knock on Madge , but the club for putting him in that position.
And with Webster and a far lesser degree is Payto , it would be a case of history repeating IMHO.

the article said Leeds ‘may have a look at him’. It was just a speculative story, no offer was mentioned.
