we're not a mess at all. We have a fantastic forward pack and a really promising backline. Our issues are both our halves have zero idea how to play attacking football. If you go to Hunt and say he'll play 7 and we're actively targeting a 6 to play alongside him, that's a good sell. He'll be playing behind one of the best forward packs in the comp.
It would be devastating for us for either of our current halves to be playing first grade for us next year. Our pack deserves better.

if they sign Brooks for say 500k then the club has 500k to put towards another player, so yes it does make sense. You might be pretty disappointed whe he re-signs mate as it may be a Clayton's re-signing as not much out there willing to come here so he gets signed by default. If AD was fit then Brooks wouldn't be a chance in hell of being re-signed as the club has another option to play 6.

Yes, I don't want him to be re-signed. We have a very strong squad bar our 6&7. I really want to play finals next year and I think upgrading Brooks and Wakeham will get us there.
@jedi-tiger It doesn't make sense. I think we're a real chance for Johnson and I think we're a real chance for Schuster. That's our 6 and 7 for next year hopefully.
