Flanagan also dropped for this week. If the young half performs I would expect we get Flanagan on mid season deal, even if for just remainder of this year

Mole reporting Flanno Snr trying to get him across to Manly for 2024.
Β
As bad as weβre going I donβt want Flanagan Jnr.
Β
Two wrongs don't make a right.
Flanagan is every bit as bad as Brooks, probably worse. Just gets constantly dominated, three clubs in a row now.

βManly assistant coach Shane Flanagan is trying to get son Kyle to the Sea Eagles in 2024 in a bid to revive the halfback's career.
Flanagan, 24, is coming off contract with the Bulldogs at the end of the season and is unlikely to be re-signed.
The Sea Eagles are considering bringing him in and moving veteran Daly Cherry-Evans to five-eighth, then shifting the giant Josh Schuster to backrow or centre.β
LOL, moving DCE to accomodate Flanagan.Β
This canβt be true. Ridiculous idea.
Β
Β Off topic I know looks nice Β but I would rather a good half signing or a win 🥴
I doubt Manly are considering any such move. More like Flanaganβs old man taking rubbishΒΒ

Surely the club picks up a reserve grader and gives them a shot over a known failure like FlanaganΒ
I like Brooks too, and I was quitely confident with decent forwards this year it would finally happen, but it hasn't, and it is now year 10, time to cut him looseWhat is your fascination with pairing players with Brooks, Brooks is the handbrake, he is the one constant in all this failure, and needs to go ASAP@tigertownsfs 450k or 500k for Johnson would be a good deal and partner with Brooks you might get him for similar money. Not a bad combo for 2 years

Basically I am a sicko.Β
in truth I like the guy and want to be able to celebrate seeing him achieve something in our colours during his career. Also think that his running and defence are very strong so can play a role outside the right 7. And I think he will be cheap relative to his output in his next contract if the right 7 is found.

There is no such thing as a guarantee on a position except if youβre the elite of elite.Form is,and should be the only denominator unless your name is Tedesco or Munster and have the runs on the board.I dare say most players understand the nature of the beast, especially a player who is clearly a number of kilograms over an acceptable playing weight. No doubt Schuster is highly talented but the alarm bells ring when witnessing what he served up on Sunday.
@tiger5150 I agree, a bit of T Rex about him I reckon.

I see more of Doueihi, Curtis Sironen, Tommy Talau about him to be honest. Not quite this and not quite that. Wants to be a 5/8 for money and chicks but too big, slow etc. Obviously has been the "big kid" with the 6 on his back all the way through juniors but things dont work like that in NRL.
