I agree, we need a solution to the halves problem. Smith is worth a try, can’t be any worse than Brooks. We could even put Starford at fullback.

Not having a go at you Joel, but IMO the club needs to not be concerned about what other clubs do and make clear decisions about what we need to do. IMO Laurie is almost a the level of utility back. Too small for centre or modern winger. Not good enough at fullback and not a half.
Also cant see Bulldogs splashing out big for him with Crichton going there

If the coaching and recruitment staff let Bula debut without signing an extended Contract they have lost it completely. No way he should debut before he signs up for at least 2-3 years.

He’s a back up player who can do a job. Just let him go. We need to continue cutting the players not in the future.

I like Naden and Junior T but the rest are not athletic enough, not fast enough and not intimidating enough.
We need marquee backs that can seal the wins.
As Gordie said the other night about Moses demanding to be the highest paid ½ in the game....he hasn't yet won a premiership and until he delivers then what Parra were offering fits the bill. It's more likely to be players trying to escape the embarrassment of the Sheens/Marshall/McDonnell era before they suffer too much reputational damage.

I reckon they want to, but how do you sell it to the fans when we’re going this bad?
For Brooks sake I think he should take the UK offer and get away from us. It’s a romance that has turned sour.
