@851 Commbank is not the grave yard as many think ! The eight wonder LOL!
🤢🤮 Makes me sick just thinking about it.@851 Commbank is not the grave yard as many think ! The eight wonder LOL!
We so often seem really overwhelmed/flat at Leichhardt. It’s weird.
Anyway, did Moses value go up after that? 😆
Well Moses wants to play with Brooks. Just picture the two them together playing like they did this week.
I thought the halves were good , I dunno what game you guys were watching ?
We lost that game because of the crazy amount of errors , especially when trying to build pressure . the attack looks good . It’s going to work IMO. But when it doesn’t it’s going to look diabolical like today .
although most of the errors were simple drop colds , or in the play the ball .
you can’t win football games if you keep giving the other team the ball .
@851 I don’t think he played that badly . He dropped 1 ball , was solid in defence , a couple of lime drop outs, and multiple times he had overlaps down the left for someone to drop it . That pass to Nader where it hit him in the shoulder was too high , but these are nrl football players , and he’s the most dynamic player in our team , he should catch those . I think you’re scapegoating mate . Just like tigers fans always do when we lose and brooks is on the field .
It looks like the plan was for brooks to control the middle and give early ball to AD .
I think it’s going to click . We dropped a lot of ball today . I can’t see that being repeated .
Did you see what Brooks just dished up, that was disgraceful, no way we re-sign him eitherOn the topic of halfbacks , anyone who was lamenting the loss of Hastings after last nights game , can absolutely sleep easy .
as soon as Ponga went down , that team had no attack whatsoever. And I’ll argue that once the warriors figured out the knights attack was basically pass it to ponga , then it was handled real quick .
hastings offers no threat at all . He just shuffles it on 3 times a set and kicks a meh kick !
It’s strange to me this obsession with organisation . To the detriment of everything else .
Lachie Millar had to step up because Hastings didn’t offer anything .
that’s a huge problem when you have a guy like ponga who can get injured pretty often .
Regardless of how we go this year . I’m adamant the club has made the right decision on this .
Genuine question, I was at the game and havent seen the replay and might have missed something, not being smart. What was disgraceful about Brooks last night? He dropped a ball and hit Naden in the chin with a pass but was there something else I missed? He ran for 192m and as Ive said in other threads, he certainly played a different style last night with his speed straightening the attack and giving Naden and Stains space. Some good kicks, forced a drop out.
What did I miss?
Leichhardt, what a myth, just like Brooks, 3 wins from our last 11 games there, 4 straight losses to the Titans there, time to move on and find one home ground@helmesy hook or obrien first coaches sacked
how good are the opening games round 1 all watchable games.
can't wait for LO
Last year we won 4/26 games, 3/11 at LO means we are almost twice as successful at Leichhardt than any other ground. Time to move all of our games to Leichhardt.
Things getting a little tense over at Kellyville.....
@tiger5150 I was told last night (by someone who would know) that he was staying at Parra.
If he wanted to come to the Wests Tigers he would have signed already. Just trying to get the Eels to a five year deal.@tiger5150 I was told last night (by someone who would know) that he was staying at Parra.
And, things are getting a little tense here in Liverpool. I don't want the show-pony. Stay at Parra, Mitchy. You deserve each other.Things getting a little tense over at Kellyville.....
@tiger5150 I was told last night (by someone who would know) that he was staying at Parra.
Im sure that is right, and that is what Im expecting but Im hoping the circus derails Parra and adds extra pressure on Mitch.
@tiger5150 We had the ball for the first 7 minutes on their try line, we offered up nothing, I think the game was gone right there, Doueihi wasn't much better at that stage, Doueihi however came good.
We had Naden and Stains on the left side with Brooks, they got hardly any clean ball to use their speed, we should have been going to them at every chance.
Brooks never seems to know what he is doing, he seems like a kid on debut every week, only this is year 10 for him, it's time to cut our losses with him, and if it means we have to re-sign Brooks to get Moses, then I say look for a 7 to partner Doueihi, and forget Moses, how many more excuses can we have for Brooks.
