@tiger5150 maybe benji will make up his mind once he sees douehi in action behind this pack
Interesting thing that I picked up on the Tim Sheens "Behind the roar" podcast, he said that all Contracts have been made bearing in mind the two years up until Benji taking over and no players that Benji hasnt picked are signed past that date. I wonder if that is part of the rationale of Doueihi extension only being one year.
I would say that is likely.

Fox Sports saying Moses still hasn’t made a decision and we’re apparently still in the running.

I find the succession plan from Sheens (totally yesterday's man) to Marshall (totally untested as an NRL coach) to be concerning to the max as far as WT future is concerned.Interesting thing that I picked up on the Tim Sheens "Behind the roar" podcast, he said that all Contracts have been made bearing in mind the two years up until Benji taking over and no players that Benji hasnt picked are signed past that date. Maybe Doueihi is in the driving seat as far as contract extensions at WT goes; not Marshall? Doueihi will decide if his future should be at WT, as opposed to a Marshall decision.
Seems like Moses told Tigers he wasn’t ready to accept our deal and Tigers rightly ask why? We are giving you 5 years on excellent money but he can’t bring himself to sign. The answer being he wants our deal but from Parramatta so Tigers tell media that he isn’t coming but his manager can’t get our deal out of parramatta so it gets stuck and he has lost his leverage over the Eels. Seems like he has to either take 4yrs at parra or 5 at the tigers and it will come down to money or loyalty

I think you’re right. Chammas is also our go to journalist for inside info to get out.

Plenty of criticism from Eels fans over Moses’ performance last night. I wonder if the contract situation is playing on his mind? His value certainly didn’t go up after that game.

@helmesy I think parra not having Ice and Lane was a big problem, Storm were there to be beaten, Roosters and Melbourne woukd have knocked them off
Moses doesn't have the second rowers to hit in attack like to had last year, and Dylan Brown is a bit of a downhill skier also, I think you put Brooks or Douihie at 6 last year in that Eels side and they go just as well.
if Moses can get over here in 24 with Brooks at 6 and Douihie at 1 and he can throw to Ice and Bateman with Api at 9 he will be dangerous.

While I agree with those points, I thought last night Hughes and Munster showed how a half makes things happen regardless of who is around them. Have a look at Melbournes backrow last night. Eli is promising but very unproven while Trent was close to worse player on the field. Moses simply chokes every close game. Brooks has nailed a lot more match winning situations than Mitch.
@doug-heffernan I'm a Brooks fan but I think he is on par with nailing match winning situations as Moses tbh
@helmesy Last nights Parra game again HIGHLIGHTED the inadequacies that Moses has in his game .. reading some posts there’s the excuses why he could not step up a seal the game . Sorry for 1.4 million $ a season you pay for someone to step up and bring home the two points! Moses is a good NRL player but he is not and I say again NOT one of the top flight players you pay over Million a season for . It is a concern that the club have offered him that ridiculous amount of money … I hope he signs with Parra today as he is Not the player that’s needed especially with Brooks still on the books .. Moses and Brooks both go missing at the critical part of games !
@snake because Moses is not cominghere without Brooks here mate
together with this pack they will be fine Brooks is better than Dylan brown at 6 and we have a better pack

- I don't know, I can think of 4 times Brooks has won the game with a late play. I can't think of one time Moses did.
I get it and it’s difficult to argue your point but I think it’s more to do with what Benji & Sheens (particularly Benji I’d say) believe he could add to their team and the style of footy they want to play. Benji’s style of footy he’d implement I’m pretty sure would be different to Brad Arthur’s. Maybe not a great deal but there’d be differences, maybe subtle differences or very obvious ones, we’ll find out as the next season or two progress. I’ve no idea if Moses will come, I think he’ll stay at the Eels but whatever the case might be only Benji & Sheens would know right now if he’s the best option going forward.@helmesy Last nights Parra game again HIGHLIGHTED the inadequacies that Moses has in his game .. reading some posts there’s the excuses why he could not step up a seal the game .
