@garry they might be alright mate . I really don’t think they’re league worse etc type hyperbole .
I remember Wighton moving into 6 and everyone asking what the hell the raiders were thinking . Then they made the GF .
It can change in an instance . Same for the storm with Hughes . Everyone was saying how can you play a fullback at 7. Or papenhuyzen was shopped around and no one wanted him .

Our attack sucked last year because the structures were vanilla . And , which doesn’t get mentioned , we were losing most games , so we were always playing catch-up footy . With a reserve grade pack IMO.
Im extremely optimistic that either or both of our halves can move back towards the top end of the comp .

my issue with him is defence. Too often last year he arm grabbed and didn’t use his shoulder . Hes a big boy . So this shouldn’t be happening at the frequency it was last year .If he gets that out of his game , he’s very close to an elite half IMO.

he did it a few times last Sunday as well which was frustrating because he had a great game. Ive ridden AD fair bit last year but hope he and Brooks kick on this year.

Another good prospect is young max Plath - yes Johnny Plath son. Plays 6,7,9, solid goal kicker as well. Plays his heart out.

I don't think you are being "played" if you are in serious long-term negotiations with a player. Especially for Moses, he has a strong history with Tigers and I don't think people like Sheens or Benji are that gullible or new to the game that they can't tell if a player is serious or not.
The reality is it costs a lot of money to get a key player to leave their current club. If Parramatta could reasonable match our offer, we would always struggle.
Like I said before, I think it's Parramatta who has been played. Considering he's been there 6 years you'd think he'd have some level of loyalty to them, but he has dragged the negotiations on and on and extracted a huge financial price from them.
