I love the office, I love British comedy and I love Ricky Gervais but funnily enough I’ve never seen the British version. Must make it a priority
No problem. As I say can understand the views others might have. I’m tending to look at it differently that’s all. Truth is I know they’re better judges than me so I want what they want.I’m not trying to justify anything. Just posing the question. Do we want Benji to get who he wants so he can try to implement the changes he wants? Isn’t that what this is about? I could well be wrong, probably am to be honest because I’m certainly not the most informed or perceptive when it comes to these things.I can understand you not wanting him to come but do you want the club to go all out to get the players Benji wants? I’m pretty sure he sees Moses as an important part of what he wants to do when he takes over. Surely this is what the Moses saga is all about. And I don’t think this is about getting behind Moses should he come, it’s just about getting behind the coaches and the changes they want to implement. Whoever they choose to carry out those changes are just a means to an end. But I realise as supporters we see it a little differently and I can see where you’re coming from but I’m just trying to put it in it’s simplest terms I guess.Hoping I've made my last ever post on the other forum. I'm one who is hoping Moses doesn't sign, I just think that money demands a premiership winning 7, not someone who fails to ice big moments. But if he comes I'll get on board and hope he can justify the price tag.
Please keep these types of justifications coming! Should Moses sign with us, I'll need all the good reasons I can find to watch him play in our colours without feeling a little ill...

I'm one who is hoping Moses doesn't sign, I just think that money demands a premiership winning 7, not someone who fails to ice big moments. But if he comes I'll get on board and hope he can justify the price tag.

Totally agree its pretty low on a scale of crimes, but with the whole joint supposedly having a new broom put through, new coaches, new facilities, new players etc, could have been more positive than "this place really sucked", particularly when he played a significant role in it sucking.

i don’t believe for a second he has signed with the eels and was just coming to concord to be polite. 1000% the eels would have announced if it was done, why would they owe the tigers anything (“we won’t announce the resigning of our marquee 7 because the tigers showed interest and Mitchell wants to go and tell them no face to face”).
We are obviously giving him much of what he wants so perhaps there is one last round of poker before the announcement is made either way. The re-signing of penisini made me more comfortable because he wasnt able to negotiate with other clubs yet (was he?) so I doubt the eels would have committed to an upgrade to him without locking down Moses ie best to keep the flexibility in the cap until Moses is done.
I’m 80% confident he’s coming because we are paying more and he gets to play with brooks and get coached by sheens and Benji in a style that plays to his strengths.
