What everyone's thoughts on where Sheens is at with Nofa?
WT junior
Had disciplinary and attitude issues.
Sent to storm for a stint, presuming to have a opportunity for attitude shift. Not sure if it worked?
Do you think Sheens would be happy to move on if $$ is right? Or is he a project the club want to take on?
If there's any way we can get rid of him we should do it, even if it means paying some freight. He's too slow, his defence is awful and his attitude sucks. He's the opposite of what we need right now. I'd be a lot happier if we played some young guys with some pace on the wing.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
@helmesy They still have Penisini and Blake don’t they? Might need someone to back those up because seem a little light for depth.
Off topic but working over Eastern Suburbs today and popped into Eastgardens for lunch. A small boy, wearing a Wests Tigers shirt and cap, holding a lady’s hand was walking in front of me. Gave him a light tap on the shoulder and said “good team” then gave him a thumbs up as I passed. I got a terrific smile & made my day. I think it’s important to let the young supporters know we’re with them, helps them feel proud of the colours they wear.
So if we make a leap of faith and we swap nofa for Moses for 2023.
I think we only have 4 players in the same positions as round 1 last year.
Laurie at fullback
Kenny on wing
Joffa at 13
Ute at prop
With on Ute the only one that I'm guessing is long term option in those positions.
Assume Brooks moves to 6 for Moses and Twal moves to the bench
AD was injured and Simpkin may be bench spot
Otherwise team is completely turned over
2022 round 1 team
1. Laurie
2. Nofa
3 Jet
4 gildart
5 Kenny
6 Hastings
7 Brooks
8. Twal
9 simpkin
10 Ute
11 tuilagi
12 Lucy
13 joffa
14 peachy
15 garner
16 musgrove
17 seyfarth

I think we have our man for 2024 from who I was speaking to, the delay is literally trying to see if 2023 is a possibility although very doubtful

As far as I'm aware 2023 has been off the table for a month.

@jedi-tiger I can’t see Parra letting him go for 2023. They would see it as their last chance for a premiership and Jakob Arthur isn’t going to lead them to one.
@garry It’s a question that will continued to be asked but the club simply doesn’t have the cap space to accomodate it fully. Need to be a high profile trade/release for 2023 to be a chance.
Not to mention Eels agreeing to any terms

Thanks Pom. Is it true we're no longer looking at Brown? Much movement expected before round 1 kicks off?
@declan from The Poms post - I am reading into it - that Moses has signed for 24 but we'll continue to seek release for 23
Big name swap for 23 - would have to be either Brooks, AD or Nofa?

@jedi-tiger Club seems pretty confident, no official word but Eels had submitted their “final” offer before ours.
Ours is better.
Nathan Brown no longer in the clubs plans. Forward pack is set.
