Id prefer Moses, he’s one of the best halfbacks in the NRL. In saying that, If we miss out on him and end up with Williams I’m not complaining.

Personally, I'd prefer Williams. He won't cost as much - that's if the 'mail' is correct that any transfer fee will be met by someone outside of the club. He's a very good organising half and would be a great foil for Brooks. Moses would be better re goal kicking, but Douehi would do a reasonable job for us. Plus, I reckon Williams would come on a 2 or 3 year contract, whereas I would assume Moses would be on 4 years.

Williams might be an option for 2023 as well, rather than waiting until 24 for Moses.Β

Of course, this would mean that Doueihi most likely shifts to the centres and potentially means an end to his time with us after next season.

One thing I would say is that given the amount of time this is taking and the fact there have been zero leaks tells me things remain delicately in the balance and there are a number of moving parts.

I don't know that the transfer fee will be paid by someone outside the club but the positive is it is not included in the salary cap.

Interesting rumour floating around tigers have made enquiries about Eddie Jones coming on board as an assistant or something to do with football operations I believe 2024Β

Tigers have not approached Jones. The two clubs that are interested are Souths (jones is a fan) and Manly (Seibold connection).

That makes more sense. Makes no sense Jones coming to Tigers when they already have the Sheens/Benji plan in place.

Let's not forget here; the Sheens/Marshall "plan" as you call it, is the default plan because Cameron Ciraldo was more impressed by Gould and the Bulldogs despite the CoE and Sheens overtures. Sheens went in hard on Ciraldo and came up short, with no Plan B. To think that it's a "plan" implies it has been developed over a period of time as the best means forward. That's not the reality.

This is good for us. That player option from 2026-2031 is bonkers - makes me think they know they've lost someone else.

Panicked re-signing by the Eels at its best right there just to keep Dylan on their books let’s hope Dylan breaks the Eels piggy bank.
