IF we miss out on Klemmer, then a subsidised Thompson would be ok. He'd walk right into the starting lineup.
Last time this came up he was pretty adamant he wouldn’t leave the Bulldogs.

The salary cap isn’t properly distributing the talent adequately, so yes it should be looked at.
I have no interest in a draft in the NRL.
We know. Just about everyone else I chat to does though. Bring in the Draft I say.

Maybe you speak to the wrong people.

good idea. If we miss out on Bateman we could make some enquires about Kyle Lovett too.
Bonjour, Mr davey-farrell.
Listen Very carefully I shall say zis only once. As previously stated by my good-self, Wooods should have been shot at dawn and his name and number removed from the records. He is not welcome, not even in my beautiful Paris. I donnt vish to hear his name again. Traitor and Comic Reader.
Au revoir, The Frog
Parramatta faces the agonising decision in coming weeks of which of their star halves to let go - Michell Moses or Dylan Brown.
The two had best-ever seasons this year - helping the Eels all the way to the grand final.
Both are available to rival clubs for 2024, having failed to come to terms with the Eels before the November 1 deadline last week.
The pair are proven match-winners and among the hottest properties on the open market.
Both can command overs from clubs desperate for class playmakers and, as such, the Eels will find it near impossible to keep them both under the salary cap.
Brown's manager Gavin Orr told Wide World of Sports his client has around 10 clubs on his trail - and Moses isn't far behind.
"There are few clubs not interested in Dylan, to be honest," Orr said.
"Wayne Bennett has made him the new No.1 target at the Dolphins and that will inflate the market.
"Dylan loves the Eels and wants to stay … but he also has to think of his family and his future."
The Tigers are prepared to throw massive dollars at Moses, a local junior who started his career at the club.
The Bulldogs will also have plenty of money to throw at a quality playmaker and are certain to have a crack at one or the other.

Apparently the rugby union player we are interested in again is Caleb Clarke.
Madge and Sheens had met with him in June 2022 whilst in NZ so maybe this rumour has some legs
Also apparently Roosters have dropped out of looking at Signing RTS
If we can land one of Caleb Clarke or RTS for 2024 that would be good

I saw that post too Jedi, and I don't find it believable. I think it could be a joke. Regardless, for completeness here is the post.
"Updates from a guy who is in the know.
1. The club is going hard for David Fifita and we are in the box seat to get him.
2. Caleb Clarke is talking to the club. He wants a change from rugby and it's just about money at this point. Hopefully a deal will be done for next year.
3. The Roosters have dropped out of the race to secure RTS. The club have put in a good deal to get him here and hopefully this deal will happen.
I think these 3 guys would add a fair bit to our team."
@avocadoontoast yeah I don't know how legit it is either, but i do know the meeting in June with Caleb was genuine.
Would prefer RTS, imagine him at fullback
