It's testament to his on field form and attitude that we are pretty much all happy to let him go even though it's one of our weakest positions.

I think that's right. I expect Api will be 80 mins, Jake cover for injury and young Rua will debut.

I don’t expect Api to be playing 80 mins at all. More like a 60/20 split with either Rua or Jake.
Musgrove had every opportunity to take his game to new levels, but all up it was a sub par season, I support letting him go if another club is prepared to cover the greater portion of his contract.
Losing Musgrove would further deplete our already thin front row stocks. Happy with Steph, Twal and Pole but next in line are two blokes who spent much of the season in Flegg; Simpkins and Fainu. Steph is the only genuine big body play-one prop amongst that lot. I fear we’re on the cusp of other Sheens undersized forward pack. Again, makes me think Sheens could shift Blore into the prop rotation - Sheens has a penchant for mobile packs, and all the talk is about recruiting second-rowers rather than middles.
Simpkins was unfit this season, he looked like blob in Flegg, however, it seems Sheens is prepared to give him another crack. Everyone had high hopes when we first saw him and his late offloads, but the optics suggests he needs to work hard on his preparation and training - here’s hoping he gets stuck in at the new shiny COE.
I can’t get a handle on Fainu just yet, he came across from Manly mid-season on a three year deal but seemed to play limited minutes coming off the bench in NSW Cup and Flegg. Maybe he was coming back from injury this year? If not, I didn’t see anything from him that suggests he’s a future NRL prop - he’s a bit of mystery for a bloke that’s in our top 30 for the next two seasons.

Interesting if true - thought benji would have keys to the roster:
Benji is keen to bring local junior Mitchell Moses back to the Tigers from Parramatta and sees him as the answer to the club's play-making problems.
But some senior officials at the Tigers don't want Moses back - he wasn't a good fit at the club in his first stint there and he isn't a popular figure with Tigers players.

My vote is Rua gets the 14 spot.
Can play 9 but also jump into 13 style forward role.
