Word - How? How did the tigers get that done with less than three minutes on the clock and two points behind? Tigers are different in 26.
Jock
played his usual 8/10, and it was enough!
special mention KPP
My one word is: Moses.
His constant whinging and complaining kept them in the game and ultimately his poor kicking cost them the game!! The eels are the perfect place for that slimy little grub!!
One word: unbelievable in the past Tigers whould not have won that game now if they could just stop giving me a heart attack
My one word: real.
Winning that game from a position where we have lost it in the past tells me that Benji is developing something real at our club. I’m not talking top 4 or top 8, it’s only three wins. But the togetherness of the team, the courage and strength of the team, and the growth of the players and Benji as a coach is real.
And to do it against the Slime with Moses in full meltdown mode? *chef’s kiss*

Plenty of good stuff but also loads of poor signs from that game, so to get out of it with a win speaks volumes for the character in the team. The two points at the end are what matters.
The first 20 of the second half was super football, other than very scratchy red zone attack. This needs to improve - doesn't help that we basically only have one fully fit half.
Eels defended very well to their credit, but we didn't ask enough questions of them IMO.
One word CLUTCH at last a player in a prominent position that has the clutch plays well done Jock ! His place in this team has to be cemented.
For mine Jock needs to be 7 when Luai comes back at 6. AD has shown the last two games that while he is a good footballer, he is NOT a 7. He killed our attack on numerous occasions today. We looked better in attack when Latu was getting it first or second receiver.

defibrillator
I needed one after thst game
well done tiges
That was amazing. Full house, old adversary, big opportunity to lock in a good position on the ladder, away match, behind twice in the game, a sin bin, a Klein - but we still find a way to win.
One word: culture
yes I totally agreed aswell and I’d have AD at right centre.I posted well before the season started that having an organising half with a quality kicking game is the equation to making the finals …Madden has proven my point the last 2 weeks Laui will be unleashed with Madden at 7 . AD not that fussed where he plays Madden is the key Imo!
I'm not convinced Makasini is a centre? So Doueihi to centre and Makasini to wing might strengthen the team? It's a good position (aka unusual for WT) to have positive options to consider like that.

Tend to agree, but I do think Doueihi is still battling with the injury. He's barely kicking (only a couple off the cuff ones yesterday), and not getting into first receiver much at all. Despite the numbers on their backs, Jock is definitely playing as the controlling half.
Luai playing outside either will make a big difference to our red zone attack imo.
Before we lock in Jock as our starting #7, I'd like to see him run a bit more. His biting into the line wasn't as dangerous yesterday as the Eels were happy to slide away from him pretty early.
