No surprise, he’s a big fan. I wonder if he’s being considered as a 5/8 option?

Tommy Talau is getting a top 30 spot & will be used next year in a Luke Garner style role of centre/2nd row.

Nu Brown is not certainty of staying has fair offer on the table but his manager pushing for more.

The Charlie Staines/Tyrone Peachey swap is going ahead & to be announced after Panther's season is finished.

Liddle's release opens up a spot in the top 30 for Nu Brown, if he takes it the squad is full time others are released. Musgrove is free to explore options but seems keen to stay.

Tuki Simpkins also no longer on the market with Sheens keen to work with him.

Henry O'Kane no certainty to stay, has a deal on the table but appears to be leaning elsewhere.

Daine Laurie will be training at 5/8 over the off season as halves cover with Staines coming on board.

Luke Brooks appears the only likely player on re-signing prior to November 1 at this point in time.

Albert Kelly is looking at a train & trial deal for the off-season but will not be offered a top 30 spot unless a few others a moved on. Will be a magpies contract at best.

Thanks Pom. Will they be looking to pursue any middle forwards for next season?

Peach was a flop, swapping for Staines is worth trying.

I can visualise Laurie being converted into a Jahrome Hughes style half.

Tuki needs to pull his finger out and get fitter, the guy has an excellent late offload but he’s never looked truely ripped.

Musgrove, constantly inconsistent. We need another decent middle, I see Musgrove as more of a number 5-6 prop in the squad.

Thanks for the update POM

Great news if Brooks does sign on for an extension.

Disappointing if we can't secure Hastings, not fussed if we keep Douhie or not tbh.

O'Kane would be a shame if we miss out on him.

Excited by the swap Peachey for Staines, if we are losing say douhie for 2024 maybe Laurie could play at 6 with Brooks at 7 and Hastings 13

The Munster talk is interesting from Sheens

Any news on a front rower ? is Frizell a chance as he has a player option for 2023 I understand with newcastle

@the_pom Thanks for the update!

Assuming Hastings negotiations may have hit a snag if not resigning prior to Nov or is the club still confident?

Thanks Pom. Albert Kelly will be good to have if young Kade Hill move’s up to NSW Cup next year.

Seems a big call for a bloke who has barely run for 2 years

The Newcastle Knights are still interested in luring Luke Brooks away from the Tigers after meeting with his management.

The Daily Telegraph’s Michael Carayannis revealed on NRL 360 that the Knights are not giving up on their prime No.7 target.

The development comes as the Tigers confirmed their interest in Cameron Munster, which has put the future of Tigers’ No.6 Adam Doueihi up in the air.

“Where does it leave Luke Brooks?” Braith Anasta asked on NRL 360.

“With a migraine,” Paul Kent said.

“Poor old Luke Brooks he is a weekly event in the news cycle.”

Carayannis revealed the Tigers are keen to keep Brooks, but that hasn’t stopped the Knights trying to lure the long-time Concord No.7.
