this is the guy we should throw the bank at. He has an option in his favour every year to leave the Roosters. He’s a $1m player. I’d take him over ponga for the same price

one from the archives

I’m not condoning what he did but he also had no real perspective on what other clubs were like from the inside when he made that decision. He’s lost a hell of a lot more than he’s gained by leaving and I’m sure this has been felt by him. If we are even contemplating Moses we should be ready to forgive Aaron.

I can forgive him. He’s a meat head, the club was a basket case at that time and his manager was a piece of work.

in the prop rotation we have Tamou, Stephano, musgrove, pole, joffa, seyfarth (at times), Twal, Dias, tuki.

Woods isn’t a starting prop these days, at best he is a squad player who has experience. We need more top line talent in the forwards so if you are going to bring in woods plus another starting prop (klemmer or Thompson etc) then who drops out of the top 30? Tamou and Tuki?

Incoming Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has reportedly contacted Roosters superstar James Tedesco about returning to Concord.

The Tigers announced this month that Marshall will take over Tim Sheens as the Tigers head coach in 2025 and he’s wasted no time on the recruiting front.

Marshall has already sounded out Eels superstar Mitchell Moses and now also wants his former Tigers teammate Tedesco to return.

Marshall has made his intentions to Tedesco clear via text, according to the SMH.

However the same report said Tedesco’s management claimed they have not heard from Marshall or the Tigers.

Tedesco is contracted at the Roosters until the end of 2024.

Roosters would be better off letting Tedesco go so they sign Munster at 6. They have manu who is 90% the player Tedesco is

It’s not going to happen but you could see the big 4 getting back together. Brooks extends on smaller deal to play6, Moses takes a little less this contract to play with his mates, woods minimum deal, Tedesco on the big dollars. Fair spine with api at 9. Late 20s so 4 years of quality left and there isn’t younger kids in the spine they are blocking any time soon. Douhie and naden centre. Fair attacking team

Teddy will not be venturing West or any other direction until Godfather Nick and the Rooster powerbrokers have squeezed the lemon to their complete advantage, and even then they’d be likely to retain him in an ambassadorial role.Teddy still has just too many valuable attributes as a player. He does it all.His durability alone has seen him retain his status as the best No.1 in the game.I’d be most surprised if he relinquished his Eastern Suburbs lifestyle too soon.

Benji and Tedesco have bought houses 2 blocks from each other in the last 6 months

The lack of speed on the wings is a worry. I know they do a lot of dirty work but I think at least one of our wingers needs pace.
