Storm are supposedly shopping NAS right now. Time to make a move Richo.
If nothing else it will get Seyfarth off the hook.
With Bud staying at Souths that makes 3 spots left. Move on Jack Bird which makes 4 spots then buy SILIVA HAVILI to play 14 then get SIOSIFA TALAKAI to play 17 then get NELSON ASOFA-SOLOMONA to come as an impact prop. You would have Pole or Sione fighting for a spot and back up incase of injury. The last spot can go to a centre/wing. If we get 2 backs go down with a 6-8 week injury in the opening rounds we have to rely on either Mason or Luke L which is an unknown and also puts a lot of pressure on to Masi. Probably unrealistic but something like that might work.
So the team could be:
1. Jahream Bula
2. Sunia Turuva
3. Taylan May
4. Starford Toa
5. Jeral Skelton/Heamasi Makasini
6. Jarome Luai
7. Latu Fainu
8. Terrell May
9. Api Koroisau
10. Alex Twal
11. Samuela Fainu
12. Kai Pearce-Paul
13. Adam Doueihi
14. SILIVA HAVILI
15. NELSON ASOFA-SOLOMONA
16. Sione Fainu/Fanua Pole
17. SIOSIFA TALAKAI
Not too bad.
Yeah, I’m with you!
You’d have to get Hunt off the books if you went that way. And also get Storm to chip in close to $300K so it would basically be a direct swap.
I think Hunt at his best is a handy player, though. Heard a stat in our last game that we are points positive when he is on the field. First 5-6 weeks and last month he played the impact role pretty well. Middle of the season when he was used as a starter and then playing injured not so good.
Two roster spots available for 2026. What should be the priority position to target?
Not a great deal of players out there with NRL experience but based on those known to be available
Bailey Simonsson
Adam Elliot
i agree with those posters who’ve said we need middles. I don’t see a whole lot of quality out there. NAS is getting some love on here but I think his judiciary record is too big of a concern.
If we can’t find highly quality NRL players then the second best option is competitors who can help build strong culture (no dickheads policy)
Looks like victor radley might fall out of a tree
It would be a high risk signing given his concussion history.
So....... we going to take Radley off the Roosters hands? There's the 'tree' the boys in the Podcast were talking about...... LOL
Why is it that when "elite"players get on the outer at their current club, some WT fans dream of them joining us? I know we're desperate for hope and success, but Radley is a shadow of his former self, IMO.
And who knows why; maybe repeated concussions and his love of nose candy? Surely WT can attract (or, even better, develop) better recruits than Radley. Let him rot on the streets of Bondi when his lifestyle choices catch up with him.
Radley is a couple of headknocks from retirement No
I’d take him on the same deal we gave douhie
@tigertownsfs Thank goodness, then, that you have no influence on recruitment.
