I really don’t understand what happened with Hunt. We start the year with him as impact off the bench, he comes on for 20 odd minutes and has desired impact, we score a lot our wide when he is on as he is denting the line and getting quick play the balls. The pole gets injured and we try and play him as starting prop and he fails and then down to NSW cup and never to return. It’s just so weird that we aren’t reverting to the game plan that worked in the first couple of months of the competition.
It has to be an attitude issue, surely?
I remember when Royce Hunt was interviewed on Bloke in a Bar. Two things stood out
1. Raised in WA and his parents still live there
2. Spoke a lot about having knee troubles throughout his career and having to manage them
Only a club like WT would offer someone a 3 year contract and ignore medical evidence to suggest that the player is not fit. This is Olam 2.0
Doueihi reported to be in negotiations with Penrith.

Not odd IMO. He would serve the same role there as he would here, jack of all trades, master of none but in a team like that he would be the cream on top.

flanagan managed by Moses. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is just to boost what tigers will pay

Looks like there might be some genuine interest in him. I'm sorry, but I'm not breaking the bank.

For the sake of my sanity and blood pressure, I'm going to have to stop reading articles about NRL or watching FOX NRL programs as they seem to be from a different planet by comparison to my impression of the game and players in it.
In putting forward a case to keep Doueihi at WT, Christian Nicolussi (SMH) offers "Doueihi has consistently maintained a high level of performance when asked to play a variety of positions by coach Benji Marshall".
What? Since when? Maybe about 40% of the time, perhaps, being generous. Other times he's a loping, plodding, sooky, disinterested, lazy underperformer. More often than not, he is more "rocks" than "diamonds".
More from Nicolussi; "Doueihi is a true Mr Fix-It. He had no problems filling in at centre this year". Sure, as long as "no problem" means he has the acceleration, line-speed and lateral adaptability in defence of The Queen Mary cruise liner. I have watched AD play many, many games for WT, mostly from the ground or on TV. Nicolussi and I are obviously not talking bout the same Adam Doueihi.
I think the offer tabled by Richardson is a true reflection of his worth to the team, and it's not offer I agree with Richo.

If douhie is going to make it as a 13 he is going to need to want it and be willing to change his body and his training methods to attempt to become elite in that position. That means he has to train full time in that position and give up his desires as a half

Yes we should ask for a semi refund on Jerome if you ask me. He’s only worth 750-800 imoSt George keen on Doueihi now..tigers willing to pay 350 - 400 p/y

Luke brooks mark 2
Assume that you are correct and Jerome's value has been $800K on the field this year ( I dont agree but lets go with your valuation).
How much would it be worth to then on top hire a consultant to come in and overhaul the losers culture that had permeated the club over the last 10 years? What would that be worth. IMO that is worth the extra $400K alone for this year.
We lose Sundays game without Jerome.
@tiger5150 He’s a 5/8 and can’t even set up a field goal in the last play of the game. I think we’re overplaying his culture prowess. Let’s just say I don’t think Latu will learn all that much from him either. All these panthers players that have come haven’t brought that much also. I also think Api is cooked.
Just a question... If this is your opinion on the club, why do you stay?
