Wow. That would be great... just read on another topic a post by @Lorenzo about our right-side defence (Seyfarth and halves) being responsible for leaking points and line breaks.
KPP and Latu can fix this immediately.
If Latu had played a full game on the right edge last night I reckon we win the game.
I personally hope Benji puts Morris or Hodgo in charge of the bench selection and interchange soon. Whoever is managing that part of the game for WT at the moment is doing a poor job!
@helmesy I would not say no to Sexton a pretty rounded player and kicks goals which is a weakness in the team. I suppose it depends on what the club wants to do with Latu .. Sexton is a true 7 though !

Sexton 7 would require Latu 13. It scares me that they might find that attractive

Yep that is a scary thought.
The other aspect that scares me a little with the Fainu/Luai combo is our kicking game. Haven't seen a lot of kicking from Latu but Luai is great for short kicking, not so much for distance.
Our opposition in games (and the Raiders game is a good example) usually have a superior kicking game and consistently punch the ball a long way. So even though we might have had a decent defensive set, we're still starting our possession from deep in our own half.
We can't do the same to the opposition and it definitely makes it harder for us, pretty much every game, and with Fainu/Luai this probably doesn't change.
i 💯 agree with Joel here… it might be the right option for next year. Experiment with Latu now at lock, that the season is over.@helmesy I would not say no to Sexton a pretty rounded player and kicks goals which is a weakness in the team. Sexton is not fast enough in my opinion. He is very slow off the mark and does not break tackles. A decent kicking and passing game yes but we need halves that can threaten the line.

This guy absolutely tore us to shreds in the trials this year. Has not got a look in at Canterbury and has a HUGE future ahead of him.
Well worth a look in my view.

Someone like Latu Fainu perhaps!!!!! 😀
Dogs just keep buying and find a way to off load anytime they want.. Salary cap is not on the NRL radar with them it seems. "Breed not Brought" apparently that's their mottohttps://twitter.com/centralNRL/status/1936694872851046431

Bula has done a hammy and will be missing the next month.

Like all great ‘development’ clubs , just buy the best and say you have developed them

Terrible news. We need him on the paddock. Who do we put in at fullback now? Tito? Luke? Mason? Taylen?
I guess we will know by 4.01pm Tuesday.
Terrible if that's true re Bula. He was uncharacteristically poor the other night, but has been our best player this season imo. A huge loss, enough to take us from battling for the top 10 to spoon favourites again.
