That's good business. Even if he says no, it forces Brisbane to pay more.

If things go to the status quo he will knock us back and retire 😂

I’m a little confused into the Reynolds interest given we seem to be backing Latu
Looks like you don’t have to be confused anymore. It’s Latu, now might need to find a good, experienced back-up in case he or Romey are injured. I think Tyrone May could be an option but there’s probably a few others who could be considered. Kurt Falls going ok in Cup, improving as season wears on. But someone with an exceptional kicking game & game management would be great unfortunately not many around. Kicking so important for so long and we have lacked a long time.I’m a little confused into the Reynolds interest given we seem to be backing Latu

Brad Schneider, Drew Hutchison & Jake Arthur are guys we could look at as back-up for halves. Schneider would be my pick but is he happier to play as back-up to Cleary etc? Hutchison will almost certainly feel his time is up at Dogs with so many halves options there. Taaffe could be one to look at as well.

Good post. Invest in Latu and Luai and have Mason and a quality fill in man.

Was also thinking about another middle for the team today. I’d still like to see us have a look at Ativalu Lisati at Storm. I know Suli Pole is there & Cooper Clarke (Clarke, a Tigers junior is playing u19s Origin this week) but I can’t really see either youngster leaving the Storm or the Storm letting them leave, they’re more likely to let Kamikamica, Vaalepu or Lisati leave. Would love Suli to join his brother but doubt very much that’ll occur.
I did have a bit of a look at a few guys in Cup yesterday and have to give credit to them, they go ok. Kit was really good especially first stint & Hunt was effective over longer minutes. But Rahme & Taateo also look to have some potential. Kit is 20, Rahme 21 & Taateo 23. Kit has great leg speed & there’s little doubt in my mind he has the making of a very good impact middle but needs to do it consistently. He’s heading in the right direction.
Has anyone on here thought about Jake Clifford?
pretty solid player and on the outer at the cows
thoughts?

Looking at the NSW Cup game stats from the weekend (I didn't see the game).
Kit Laulili'i - 45minutes; 12 runs; 168 metres; 63 post contact; 17 tackles;
Royce Hunt - 33 minutes; 5 runs; 44 metres; 16 post contact; 12 tackles;
Surely Kit is infront of Royce at the moment for another crack at 1st grade... even Rahme and Murray made more metres than Hunt.

Yeah, Kit has to be getting close. It's good the way we've been slowly bringing him along.

I think Hunt’s stats are underwhelming but he did some good work off the ball as well. But I agree, at the moment I think Kit could offer more. To be fair Royce needs fitness, he’s played little this season & I know Sharks sometimes dropped him back for a some weeks to get minutes into him so a good run of games in Cup will help.Was also thinking about another middle for the team today. I watched him against the Dolphins and he wasn’t very effective but not many of them were. He has a good kicking game when he’s at his best so as back up he’d be ok. But I prefer Schneider as he still has upside to his career. If it was a question of saving money in the Cap to look at a middle then a guy like Hutchison would probably be ok too as he’d not command quite as much as Schneider. Also think Hutchison might be more open to a move. It’ll be interesting to see what the club ends up doing.Has anyone on here thought about Jake Clifford?
