@avocadoontoast I still like the Hodgson option and open to paying more - because we desperately need some senior leadership

Tamou - hasn't been what promised and will struggle to make 17

AD - great leader but still young and injured for half season

Hastings - has leadership potential but needs to cement his spot in nrl

Brooks - not a vocal leader

Twal - great team player but not a vocal leader

I would of lokew hodgson and sims to provide that senior leadership to transition the next generation

It'll be interesting if they see cotric as a long-term centre or winger.

With AD coming back middle of the year, likely in centres. The other centre spot being fought out by talau, AJ, Gildart, Roberts and now Junior. Theb add cotric to the mix -

I wonder if nofa starts feeling some pressure to step up, otherwise one of the above might step in

Agree I think centre definitely, at least to start the season. We’re very light on in that position.

Cotric would be our best centre to start the season.

That’s a very good point. At the moment we’ve got no real backup for Laurie.

@garry considering the rest are injured that would be the case.

With the exception of maybe AD I reckon he’d be the best regardless.

@avocadoontoast I’m interested to see how Gildart goes. But you are probably right.

I watched a bit of Gildart in Sl and was pretty underwhelmed, but I’m hopeful an NRL preseason and change of scenery might bring the best out of him. If he does come good ans we get Cotric it’s a half decent backline.

@avocadoontoast fair enough. I’ve never seen him play but heard mixed reviews. It’s a starting centre by default at the moment.
