@jedi-tiger I beg to differ Re Galvin , watch yesterday’s game , playing against good opposition and did nothing and that’s not the only game this season.

didnt help his forwards were getting hammered.

Would Latu Fainu have done any better ? who knows the bloke cant get out if the rehab team to find out.

Those are the kind of comments that lost us blore (always injured) The kid has pushed himself when he shouldn't have, hence the recurrence of the hammy. A broken thumb is probably what makes him a better defender then Galvin, he actually defends front on, doesn't wait for the player to pass and take him down from behind. Galvin is barely reserve grade quality at the moment, his attack and defense are putrid...I would prefer Bird playing 5/8 if Galvin cant pull his finger out. There is a reason the media and Gould have stopped blowing smoke up Galvins arse and gone all quiet on him, too embarrassed to mention him as they talked him up like he would be inducted in the hall of fame before seasons end and an immortal before Christmas. Now I'm no Latu fanboy as he is yet to prove himself in first grade other than a few nice touches against a tired defense, however i cant ignore how bad Galvin has been since he came back after the Parra game. I would much prefer we pick up a DCE or Reynolds for 26 and give Latu and maybe even Bud a year under his tutelage to come good.

How good was Katoa for them? Shows what Seyfarth doesn’t bring.

Fire up the shredder too for Galvin and Naden.

100% Seyfarth is a average player who has reached his ceiling. We need a gun 2RF and some depth in the centres. AD has been great but geez he is slow, turns like a cargo ship, serviceable for the time being however we need more strike around him. Naden is a reserve grade player who you might be able to call up to cover the wing if you are desperate. Samuela has been playing within himself and i feel it has something to do with Galvin sweeping too often to the left and running them out of space, younger players want the glory in attack so i think that may be affecting his overall contribution especially in defence, trying to put on too many big shots needs to chose the right moments, his missed tackles stats are deceiving as he puts a significant amount of effort in to the scramble defence and this often leads to missed tackles. There are probably 8 or 10 players you could see playing finals footy in the 17, the rest need to either pull their fingers out or move on.

Taylan May “ready to play next week”. It is safe to presume that will be at our club 🙏

I have pretty much locked him in as one of Richo's 2 - 3 signings

What do people think of Billy Burns at Sharks? Looks to be playing the best footy of his career & is off contract this year. Will be 27 at the start of next preseason & wouldn’t break the bank. Just watching him play lately he’s probably in better form than KPP. Could still bring in Taylan May & one or two others.

I think our focus needs to be on the pack not the outside backs. We have money and we need to add 2 quality back row/lock and probably also a prop.

I hope we are looking at Keaon Koloamatangi his contract at souths ends 2026 season.

or tatola from souths he can't seem to get a run

We could then move May to 13

Apparently Bennett wants to help him resurrect his career, and Souths are skinny out wide.

It’s hard to know the truth.

Unfortunately for Richo & the Tigers there doesn’t appear to be much “falling out of trees” at present, Taylan May being the exception I suppose. I can only assume when he talked of 2 or 3 new signings one to be May (hopefully) and others stuck in Cup looking for opportunities. Ryan Matterson is probably the only one who I know for sure is looking around. Guess we’ll see soon who he meant.

I'm hoping there are some surprises, the fact NAS murdered us in his first game back and is now dropped could mean something. Clubs will be aggressively looking at making changes coming into June 30.

NAS would be my first choice recruit. You could push May or Pole back to 13 which would really strengthen our middle. I would be fine with KPP and Taylan if that is what we end up with. I’d probably bring Sullivan back to compete with Latu after that.
