Sam is more a hole runner than an offloader so I’m sure he could play right. From memory when he debuted for manly against us he was playing right.

Fifita is a difference maker, or he can be when he’s on. I get the impression he needs a change now, he almost did a year or two ago but reneged. This stage of his career should be his best but there’s something not right, whether that be his attitude, his need for a new challenge or simply not reaching his full potential who knows. Maybe it’s a combination of all three. I think if we, or any other club, took him on it’d have to be short term, 2 years probably. We have great leaders at this club now & Benji & Richo would be the best judges of him fitting in or not.

It feels to me like there is a bit of a fractured playing group at the Titans, lots of chopping and changing of positions and not great leadership on the field. I think Fifita may be the type of player that needs a more cohesive playing group and maybe a man manager as coach rather than the mad scientist. I also believe the same may be the case at the knights and it is affecting players like Ponga, Bradman best and KPP. Ponga looks completely pissed off with his team mates on the field and he is not hiding it.

Agree with recent positive posts on Fifita... on a subsidised deal it's a no brainer!

If you could have a fit and focussed Fifita (three f’s) I’d say see ya later to Galvin next week.

Dom Young has become available as of now, told he can look elsewhere by the Roosters.

He was great at the knights, however is he much of an upgrade on skelton, he will likely get 500k+ on the open market. Also plays same side as turuva....he has that spot locked.

Who would you play at 6?

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

If Fifita was here and in the right frame of mind and running off Luai on the left (moving Samuela to the right) you could play Doueihi or Latu at six.

Prime Fifita would be a massive signing, he is destructive and draws in multiple defenders in attack, it woudl be like the Luai Kikau dynamic. In defense he has 92% tackle efficiency. There is still a great player in there, just dont think he is comfortable where he is.

Apparently he’s being affected by an ankle injury, personally I think that’s a smokescreen.

Is there any thoughts on T May being our 80 minute lock (essentially still a prop), and enough other props to cover the rest of the rotation.

He seems to have more ball skills than the other prop options

Think he’s already playing lock at 8 tbh
