Isaac Moses still have the following on our books
Jahream Bula - can't wait for the crap fight to come out around him shortly as he improves
Phoenix Godinet - Promising young player in the second row

Moses is a snake no doubt, however I don't think this is just a moses thing. Galvin and his family would have a big say and I'm hearing he is not happy playing second fiddle to Luai and is not comfortable with the relationship Benji and Luai have. The kid and his clan have bought in to all the hype and Moses is probably amping that up to get him to Manly or Parra, who both have big $$ available with Brown and DCE leaving and both would sign him up at overs on a 10 year contract with clauses. You can tell from the interviews that Luai is trying to be diplomatic when discussing Galvin...I don't think they are clicking as teammates.
The coming weeks will be interesting to see how Benji handles this. I wonder if he "rests" Galvin this week "as its been a draining week for such a young kid", needs some time to get his head right etc...Play AD at 6, if he brains it against a hapless Eels you can probably keep him in there for a few more games and hope Latu is that much closer to coming back before AD shits the bed. It will all depend on how AD plays on the weekend...it may be embarrassing for the Galvin clan if he comes out and gets our attack humming with Luai. Galvin and Luai just seem very disjointed tbh, Galvin seems to always be presenting himself to Luai and calling for the pass, not giving him any space or shape...almost negates his impact. He did the same with Latu in that game they played together in the trials, Latu was much better when Galvin was replaced by AD.
I would rest him. Though this game is very important, and I don't think we can afford too. He looked unsettled on the field yesterday. I can't see that improving much this week. The crowd will react in one way or another to everything he does on the field.
I’m worried Galvin will start tanking. If he does he just needs to sit in NSW cup or just rest him as he is an important bargaining chip. I’m not sure how I feel about the DCE talk, at least there is an end date for him so that gives Latu some time to develop but I don’t know much about Latu, is he the type to wait?
on $500k per yr and playing with his brothers...why not. Maybe extend him and his siblings for 2 years on a bit more coin as a sweetener.I’m worried Galvin will start tanking. As sad as I am about Galvin leaving, I'm actually glad we can move on with future plans. I've always had an uneasy feeling about how his family and manager have agitated and played the media.
Despite what Richo says, I'm not sure Lachie will be here next season... he is one heck of a bargaining chip to the club that has procured his services! I can live with him leaving at the end of this year if we pick up a GOOD player in return.
But if Galvin does play in 2026, the calls for Benji to play him in ressies or some other spiteful reaction simply won't happen. Benji is way too smart for that, won't burn a bridge, and will select the best team for success.
does the club look at DCE for 2 years as a replacement
7. DCE
6. Luai
Manly will be the team looking good
DCE money to get fogarty
2026 7. fogarty 6. Brooks
2027 7. fogarty 6. Galvin
No

surely we have to invest in Latu
latu is a good player but made of glass always breaking down
we have AD as a backup 6 god help us
maybe Reynolds for a year ?
Latu is 19, he will get past the injuries.

To put it politely, Lachie does not present as the sharpest tool in the shed and is ripe for the picking of a manager such as Moses. Moses will maximise the value of Lachie's next contract on the basis of his own commission. Lachie (and parents, I suspect) will gullibly play along with whatever Moses says.
it was a hammy last yr, Concussion and then broken thumb....not connected injuries so he will be fine, just some bad luck, however not at the Benji, Tedesco, AD levels, which is a good thing.does the club look at DCE for 2 years as a replacement

I’m trying to think about what I would do as a parent. It’s hard to divorce the fact that I’m a tigers fan, but I can’t believe they are not pushing back on Moses here. Galvin could be on a million a year and unlikely to get much more from other clubs, so it’s not a financial incentive. He is 19, so why bother with chasing a long term, 10 year contract when he still has his prime ahead of him. The club is out of turmoil, so it’s not an escape from the shitfight that we’ve had in the past. The only thing I can think of is that they want to encourage him to chase a premiership at another more successful club. But if you can’t see the potential for immortality of dragging a winless club into the top 8 (and I’m not even talking about a grand final here) then you are blind. I think back to the tigers doco where they showed the poor bloke who got noffa tattoo…that’s how desperate we fans are to latch on to someone who can bring us glory. That could have been (and still could be, although he’s made the hill slightly steeper) his path. I’ve never been much of a Galvin fan, think he is good but in the same way I think AD is good. But if I was his parent, I would be saying stick with this club for a few years, develop your craft and enjoy the ride.
I cannot understand why the need to extract him as a 19 year old. I’m sure his manager is telling him about how his client Brooks wasted his career at the tigers but honestly Moses has done very little at parra and teddy was basically the same player his whole career. It’s highly insulting that they are now leaking to the media that he doesn’t think Benji can coach, clearly part of that is dirty tactics from Moses to make his position at the club untenable but shows a lack of class, loyalty and integrity on behalf of the kid and his family. He has raised the expectation bar now so high that if he doesn’t become the next Brad Fittler he will go down in history as one of the biggest flops in the game.

moses kicked on to a GF and origin since he left and parramatta are legless without him
I think with galvin I don't think the elevator goes all the way to the top unfortunately
