What do people think of Grant Anderson at the Storm? Every time he’s come into the team there he seems to do a good job. Not sure what’s his best position but appears adept at centre & wing. Comes from a great system, seems a great professional & at 25 is probably about to play his best footy. Storm also have a few others they’ll need to upgrade to keep them after this year.

Apparently he will leave the Storm after this year but the new club not named as yet.

Not confirmed but that’s the rumour. Not sure how Broncos could do it unless they’re resigned to losing a player or two.

Of course he will probably go to Broncos but they must be confident in keeping Reynolds, Cobbo, Staggs, Hetherington & Haas next year (and 2027 for a few of them) without having to increase their contract payments.

Any thoughts on how we actually play Luai, Galvin, api and Bula? Individually they are doing great things and we have had success in shape with Bula sweeping into the backline but something still looks off with how they play when the structure breaks down. Is this part of the plan? Luai lacks try assists which is very odd given he is so prolific usually and yet we look much more capable as a team when he is on the field. I’m hoping there is something that improves perhaps when he spends more time with Sam Fainu and Adam and can more durably create on the left hand side given all our points are coming on the right at the moment. It’s an interesting problem to have where you main half, left hand side specialist hasn’t created any points on the left. If we score any points on the left it’s usually Galvin wrapping around and using his short kick. Keen to hear thoughts

I am really glad that this is getting sorted out now but so angry about it.

Already tired of the crap that came with it. Now we can stop pandering to him and his Daddy

Honestly not as impressed with him this year, and not just because he is going. Yes he has created for us, however on balance he has also destroyed some decent attacking shape when he gets the ball. Teams have figured him out, he has his step inside (too slow and too weak to break through) and the grubber kick to the corner (not consistent). Every other try assist he has been the link man when numbers are already stripped. I'm guessing there is a big money play from the Eels for him to already be decided. Benji's comment that Latu is too good to play reserves is when I got the feeling Galvin was gone. Yes he plays with great energy, however he isn't worth $1m per season, maybe in a few years, however in a few years its highly likely he may not be a half.

Richo won’t let him go early unless we get a really good player in return from someone. He can kick stones for 18 months for all I care.
let’s get Latu fit and firing asap.
See ya Lachie, you ungrateful selfish @$&*!

Benji will play him in the back row and he will whine about his mental health no doubt

What a ridiculous situation where we have a player confirming a move 22 months into the future. The NRL is beyond farce at times.

Disappointing news nonetheless, but at least we have a solid plan B in terms of Latu. Also gives us a huge war-chest to go to market.

Oh well, we can win games without him. Yesterday proved that.

@jedi-tiger could be a few kids that moved there that will not be impressed, esp young Onitoni Large. I still think Moses is sending him to Parra, his cousin Mitch is going to look very ordinary without a serviceable 6 once Dylan leaves.

It is a crazy situation. When a local kids is offered a chance to be a multi millionaire but knocks it back because his manager wants to make one of his coach clients look better. You cannot tell me that his career would be better off under an Obrien, seibold or ryles. It’s insane. We had a lot of money riding on the future of Galvin and at least now we aren’t going to be paying him for potential. I’m excited by Latu, he is by no means the finished product but he has some things about him that are better than Galvin. He looks like a more traditional 7 than Luai or Galvin and I think we could be a better team if Luai is back to his traditional role
