Anyone know much about Ativalu Lisati at the Storm? Is an edge player stuck behind 3 or 4 over there. Apparently from the a Penrith system & joined Storm last year, just turned 24 & off contract after this season.
I was looking at Suli Pole playing for the Storm Flegg yesterday, big young fella, about 6”4 and 110-115 kilos. Made me wonder about all the middles they currently have & these youngsters coming through. Surely something has to give. I know Joel has mentioned NAS at times and it’s probably him or Kamikamica who will move on at some point, probably next year after they win the premiership this year. Will be interesting to see what happens there.

They will write books one day around how the Tigers fumbled Matamua’s development. A giant ball playing forward in a position we have no depth, captain of the junior rep sides, local. Spent years floating around the edge of a first grade squad that was atrocious rather than developing him in lower grades.
I hope he still makes it. He’s too good a player not to. Just won’t be at Wests Tigers. A victim of poor roster management and coaching I agree.

Ive seen him play for the bears a few times. He’s far too good for Cup. We need an edge player desperately.

The performance of To’a and Doueihi has me scratching my head re Taylan May.
Today, I think, again shows a need for another prop and backrower ahead of a centre.

@helmesy Lets have this discussion in 6 weeks , To’a has had 2 good games in-between long injury lay offs since being at the club .. IMO Douehi is a week to week prospect with the ACL’s. Sign May up a soon as possible IMO.. There is space available to sign an impact forward as well !
Until Toa and AD can put 3 or 4 back to back solid performances in, than their positions as first pick centres will be under question. I still think a team out there will pay some good coin to get AD in the halves and it will likely happen sooner rather than later if he stays uninjured for a few more weeks. His goal kicking may win us a couple of close games so unless he stinks it up I'm ok keeping him in the starting 13.

Not sure, but he’s available to talk to in November. 6 foot 4 and 112kg, I’d like to have him in place of Pole who can start on the bench.
