Taylan May is edging ever closer to making his NRL return, with the Wests Tigers understood to be a frontrunner for the 23-year-old’s signature.

All of this speculation will come down to one thing; that is if players and managers believe Marshall can coach and develop talent such that being at WT into the near future is a good career move. If Galvin goes, then it's a clear indication that there isn't that belief IMO.
I think Luai's get out clause this year is linked to whether or not Benji is coach going into 2026, both he and Terell are talking Benji up big time, I don't mind it, but if they want him to stay than they need to perform and drag the rest of the team with them. However, things could get messy if Benji gets the flick....there are not too many decent coaches available to replace him either. I would hold off on beating the drums until there is a gun replacement available.
@Lorenzo What do you mean by "hold off beating the drums"? Nothing I, or you and others, post on here has any impact on club decisions. My point is that the ball is fairly and squarely in Marshall's court in 2025, with an improved squad, to prove that he can coach and strategise, and develop the talents of the squad to be more competitive and successful than in 2024.
Galvin committing to a longer-term deal would be one indicator that those who truly hold sway, not you or me, believe that he can. But, that's just my opinion.

galvin and his management have wanted out even before he made his first grade debut due to tigers signing luai, sullivan, fainu.
The worry will be if latu or luai or May want out, galvin has had one foot probably out the door for awhile given his management team.
Feels like we will have Klemmer out, Olam medically retired and Taylan May in within the next week. Who are we bringing into the roster to fill up the 30? With Masi believed to be the future and with Taylan in the squad I feel like 2RF/lock has to be target. Not sure if there is anyone people have been keeping an eye on who seems to be on the outer?
ethan Bullemor? Adam Elliott? Bryce Cartright? Maverick Gyer? Brandon smith?

Will probably do what we do every year and not fill the squad.

Elliott has fallen out of favor at the Knights. Any interest?

Not really talking about us, however some media outlets love to quote fans comments on social media platforms.@Lorenzo What do you mean by "hold off beating the drums"? galvin is now liking some oarra fans post about coming home lol, allegedly spotted at a Cafe with Isaac and mitch, you couldn't make this stuff up...
if he does sign elsewhere will he kick stones to get a 2026 release ?

If he signs elsewhere then I would sit him in reserve grade unless the other team offer up someone special. He isn't on huge coin.
I actually reckon that unless he signs soon then we need to start giving Latu the 6 more and more to develop him. If he goes then we should blacklist Isaac Moses.
I am starting to dislike Galvin. Under no circumstances should he be released but if he turns our year into a circus then he needs to be shifted out of 6. We all know how this is going to end

Phoenix Godinet is also a Isaac Moses client he has signed on for a couple of years
play galvin in centres give latu fainu a run
Geez these media outlets are really so full of crap. They write about how Luai will go to Parra because he played with Moses for 2 games in Origin yet completely ignore the fact that he is basically brothers with Turuva and May, played and won a premiership with Api, coached by his childhood hero, is co-captain etc... yet 2 games at origin level trump all of that to publish rubbish clickbait.
If Galvin does not lift his game he will lose his starting spot and it will have nothing to do with contract discussions. Has been very ordinary since the end of last season. Opposition teams know he only has a few tricks and goes to water if they crowd him in defence. I expect this weekend he will have to really pare it back and pick his moments, our wingers and centres did not see any quality ball against Newcastle except the one try where Galvin stayed on the right and when he swung to the left he did not make it in time to get involved.galvin is now liking some oarra fans post about coming home lol, allegedly spotted at a Cafe with Isaac and mitch, you couldn't make this stuff up...
